I have been doing CPA marketing for awhile and have
been able to sustain an income for sometime now.

Last day something crossed my mind while
brainstorming with my brother about setting up
    a store.

As we all know that any website or store can
start getting sign ups, leads, sales etc once
they have their offer up an running across a
    few CPA networks.

Now when a REAL store is being advertised through
hand outs, banners, local tv channel etc, you
are only spreading the word - that there is a
shop now at so and so place.Visit to buy this
    that etc.

You never know who you are attracting, whether
visitors, window shoppers or buyers. You are only
attracting some people to your store.

NOW, the same thing happens to any web based company.
They advertise their site with a CPA network.
    People come and join.
    They pay for people joined.

Now, the advertiser can use multiple techniques
to get the maximum out of those new sign up etc.

It is to my opinion how the advertiser deals with
the prospect is what determines the attrition or
    the sticking rate.

It should not really be the concern how the prospect
is generated, but the focus should be on something
that would by default attract and keep the person
sticking to that website instead of just signing up
    and forgetting it.

Well, I dont deny that some people will always forget
but with a good advertising budget and with a great
method of following up, I am sure the difference can
be made even if the leads are generated with BH
    tactics.

Afterall, even the BH tactics generate leads from real
people by offering whatever incentives. Not bots.

Now all sign ups wont stick or buy, just like all visitors
to a store wont buy for whatever reasons, that does not
mean that they are not welcome to the store.

So why the heck they screw us saying bad leads, shit
    leads and what not.

To my opinion only real people and real active email ids should
be the concern. That is the only virtual entity in the www.

    Isnt it ?

    Post what you think mates.

That is the issue........real people but non active email ids. AMs always have their hands tied............it doesn't matter what we tink..........as long as the advertiser complains...........we are screwed. As simple as that :smoker:

The payouts on CPA networks are for targeted sign ups, because your leads are untargeted they are worth less and not worth the lead pay out, it makes sense. That's why you gotta use offers that allow incentives to stay on the safe side.

I understand what target market means.

What is target market has to do with "email/zip" sign
ups. Everybody is interested in winning some lotto
or sweepstakes no matter what they do and where
    they come from.

Everybody has the right to take part in winning something.

So why do they screw if the traffic is coming from crap
sources. All they need is to get their co-reg campaigns
profitable. That is what conversion is all about in zip/email
    CPAs. Isnt it ?

People who are interested in the offer usually fill out the second page while BH techniques never get the second page on email submits. It's not all about the email.
