From a seo standpoint I and many others would argue that there is no way around c+m , net, orgs if you're in a semi competitive niche.

    Home Page:
every step you take will affect seo even your ip address also will affect seo. but .co with other TLD domain name, it still able to compete with because it base on your keyword and backlink rather than only domain name. Unless people do search for .com only.

.Co is now a fully recognized TLD that will compete equally with .Com as far as Google is concerned.
The only problem with it is with the semi-offline side of things, where people see your domain and have to go home then and type it in.
You'll find that some people will add the extra M in there making it a .Com
Simply because they 'think it should be' and you have forgotten the M.

This will continue for a couple of years at least, until the general public accept .Co as a normal TLD.
They are just too used to .Com, and it's going to take a lot of persuasion to change the general concept of domain names and make people know that .Co is there as well.

The other issue is if those domains are all already taken then it's likely you're already facing some stiff competition

I'd take .co over .biz any day, .biz just looks like spam.

However I'd probably look for another main keyphrase to use where the .com/.net/.org was actually available.

    I have a .co

about a month old - today made $7.87 in adsense clicks

so honestly if you have half way decent fresh content - I dont think it matters much

some web surfers will always prefer .com and .org - but if you have good rankings you will still make money regardless.

    goodluck

Most of the time, we email, links or see it online. I can't remember the last time someone told me a website to go to instead of texting, IM'ing or emailing me.
