    Hello and welcome!
I've been lurking in the shadows of BHW since late 2011. My history of Internet Marketing consisted mostly of CPA, PPD and Offline Marketing (selling websites). In my prime I earned $50-$97/day. All my methods have found success some time in their process. Unfortunately, my lack of dedication to my IM work then caused me to earn nothing. Feeling discouraged, I prioritized pursuing a normal 9-to-5 job over IM - for safer income. But now, I've quit my day job in pursuit of this brand new journey in Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing.
(I don't encourage anyone to quit their day job over IM but when the pressure is on, so am I!)
In addition, I've cut out anything in my daily routine which might hinder my progress: video games, social media, netflix, tv.. everything but exercise! Less bullsh*t, more productivity. Thanks for reading. :)

I've published 2 books as a test to see if I was right for Kindle Direct Publishing and it's still too early to tell.

Book 1 (Chakram): I published this without doing much. It was 25~ pgs nonfiction. Threw on a basic description and cover as well. The book content itself is decent grade, very imformative, great points but lacking in polish (flow, transitions, grammar, structure). No reviews added.

10 sales in the first 2 months then zilch, after. Weird.

    -Needs reviews

Book 2 (Gladius): I published this book 2 weeks ago. 25~ Pages Nonfiction. Better description this time. Better cover. Great book overall. Not great on the overall polish. No reviews added.

    2 sales / 4 borrows

    -Needs reviews

Published my 3rd book. ~100 pages. Fiction.
It's going on free promo today so I'll be hustling for some reviews this weekend.

    Gladius:
I put it on free book promo since yesterday and it got 74 downloads. I have no idea how good or bad that is. It will be free for 2 more days just so I can get reviews on it. Currently exchanging reviews as much as I can!

    Free Downloads: 74
    Reviews: 1
    Sales: 0
    Borrows: 0

I have such sh*tty stats right now but let's see how much that changes after my books get reviews.

    03.07.2015
    1. Today's goal is to wh0re my books for review. I want 10 each.
    2. Research the market for my next book idea.

I appreciate any feedback or comments! Going strong! I put in 8 hours of work today and I'm not complaining yet. :)

This book appears to be doing so much better than I expected that I'm actually going to make it part of a series! I'll be concentrating on this niche and probably trying to dominate it or related sub-categories.

I just made an Author Central account to legitimize myself with an attractive bio. After tonight, I'm putting it back on the market at $2.99 and seeing how that goes. If not well, lowering it to $0.99. If not well at all- I'll make it free and use it as incentive for my other books in the series.

So what you do is write books and release them on kindle? (amazon and itunes too?)
Where do you get the information from?

I release them only on Amazon Kindle, if my books take off I'll begin releasing them anywhere I can.
Typically I look at what my competition is offering in terms of information. Once I know what it is I pick it apart from different sources until it is my very own book.
That's how it goes for nonfiction, but I suppose you can apply that to fiction as well.

Pretty much just got back from vacation. Grinding out more books asap!

    Muramana

Pretty awesome. This book averages a sale a day. I randomly put it on free promo on Monday and it blew the charts in it's categories. It went straight to #1 in 1 subcat and was #166 in Top Free in Kindle Store. No doubt if I can get up to 20 reviews on it, it'll be get more sales on average.

This book is cool. It gets some random sales every now and then.

Alright. Finishing a book and publishing it tonight.
Also - I don't like how I'm organizing my information right now. I'll switch it up next post.
    Thanks for tuning in!

    Released another book, "Falchion".

As of right now I have 4 books in my niche and 1 outside of my niche.

The very first book I published into my main niche is doing decent. Averaging 1-2 sales/day with 8 reviews under it.

The 1 book which is separate from my niche is also doing decent. Averaging about 1-2 sales/day. However, since it's a $0.99 book i make doo-doo for $$. I just increased its price to $2.99 to see what happens.

I just recently updated all my book covers to my liking. They are all uniform so it looks like they are all published by the same author, which they are.

    What's going on right now:
I'm getting as many reviews during my free promo to increase my books' potential.
I'm making minor formatting adjustments to all my books.
I'm going to release 1 final book into my niche by tomorrow.
After that the book publishing will be paused and I'm gonna focus on getting as many reviews on my books as possible.
Once that is done, I'll be bundling closely similar books to see how that goes.

It should be about a week til I start that.

Kindle is a pretty time consuming game, and can be pretty tedious but fun at the same time.

For all the efforts thus far, I've made $20. Only $980 to go!

    March Benchmark

Everything is going fine. Unfortunately, I'm not as organized as I thought.
However, if I keep up what I've been doing for the past month,
I'll reach my goal of $20/day on schedule.

    Books published this month: 9
Daily earnings: $8-10/day (4-5 sales average)

This first month felt like I was just getting my feet wet.
I've been working really hard on figuring out how to improve my business and now I have a better plan and a better niche.

    What's going down in April?

I really want to see if I can hit $20/day before May.
I might be able to, last month was a lot of experimenting. Experimenting niches, book covers, descriptions, reviews, etc.
I've experimented enough and all I need is to produce my content.

My goal this month is to publish 1 book every 2 days. That's 15 books by the end of the month. That's almost double the amount of books I wrote last month.

I really don't have anything else to do. Except watch Breaking Bad and publish.

I want this so badly. $30/day by May pls.

    Reached my goal and beyond.

I'm already at $30~/day now! The first niche I was spending basically 3 out of 4 weeks on are only a quarter of my earnings.

I found a new niche that is very prosperous. These are books I can earn from without attaining reviews first.

    GOAL COMPLETE.

    NEW GOAL: $100/day by May 1st, 2015.

Great Journey. Well organized and up to date.

    Some question:
How many books do you have now?
I am planning to do some non fiction ones and wonder how well they do compared to the fiction ones?

    Thanks.
