Hey Guys. First, let me say how thankful I am for this forum and this community. I've learned an incredible amount since stumbling upon this place and have found ridiculously valuable resources and tools since joining. I am so thankful that this forum exists and for all those who provide value to it. I first looked into drop shipping last year and found it incredibly appealing. However, my marketing knowledge was extremely limited back then so I never executed. But now, things have changed. I was able to grow my personal Instagram account to 7k in about 2 months, so I'm confident to do the same with a store. My plan is to use automation in combination with ads and shoutouts. I'm planning on allocating about $20/day to Instagram ads to start and going from there. I'm moving to California in about 3 months. My goal is to hit $100 a day before then, and I decided I would take you all along on my journey. I plan to update regularly and would love some input from those experienced with what I'm attempting, as I am very new to this. My Niche is Clothing. I know, I know, it's oversaturated. But they say to stick to what you know and love to make money, and I've always loved clothing and style. So I'm going to give it a shot. What I've Accomplished so Far: Assembled my first set of products for my Shopify store (a total of 60 products) Set up an Oberlo Account What I Still Need to Accomplish: Create and finish the Shopify store Create an email funnel - No experience, would love some advice Get custom labels made to go out on my packaging - No experience, would love some advice Launch His and Hers Instagram Accounts and build each to 500 followers (double the exposure) Once achieved, begin ad campaign. Allocate $10 to each account. Split A/B testing with ads. Keep winners, ditch failures. Start reaching out to influencers at about 1K followers Update Store according to what is popular and not popular Rinse and Repeat Obviously, I have barely gotten started. However, I decided it would be better to start this thread from the very beginning, so that we can all learn from it together. If I missed anything you think is important, please let me know! Hopefully I'm able to make some money and provide you with some valuable insight and knowledge. Lets go.
