Aliexpress is going to open offline stores in the EU.

Whats is your opinion about this.

Sounds kind of over the top considering they don’t really sell their own stuff unless I’m mistaken.

Not sure how that will work for them when most of the time their photos online are perfect compared to the garbage you receive in the mail.
Does this mean they are qa/qc'ing everything?

There are already warehouses of different Chinese webshops in Europe, mostly gadgets. It's somewhat similar. Often it takes an eternity to receive packages from China in EU, i guess this is about to change.

People where i live, order a lot of shit from China. I have a friend, who works at the domestic postal service. He said, that these Chinese packages are practically killing the service, which lead to a lot of delays in the delivery especially in the festive season. This got to a point, where the postal service doesn't deliver small packages anymore, you need to go to the post office for them. This won't get better with the offline EU shops, it only shows, that there's a big demand. Seems like a logical decision to me.

Now stores shut down and open online
but aliexpress started the opposite way :rolleyes:
