Should I be seeing the alexa traffic rank go up or down for the best results.

I started to use a software program and the first few times that I have ran the software the
numbers have gone up, this last time the numbers have gone down.

Here are the stats:

Jan. 26, 2010
Alexa Traffic Rank:
10,235,513

Jan. 27, 2010
Alexa Traffic Rank:
10,263,565

January 28, 2010
Alexa Traffic Rank:
10,274,637

January 29. 2009
Alexa Traffic Rank:
8,478,178

Down is better. Shoot for top 100,000 to get daily updates and a graph

I used one of the scripts I found on BHW and the way it worked was my site would lose Alexa rank for about 4 days after running the script and then it would jump dramatically in a positive way.

Last week I tried it again though and i lost 300,000 spots and never recovered. I am not sure if they caught on to the script but what was once working for me no longer works.

I think the best way to boost your alexa rank are
1. set its widget on your browser
2. Post articles regularly (either by software or by yourself)

i have a backdoor tool to help boost the alexa rank. It works awesome for me..

Actually, I am using the software that sharepro just released.
Somedays the number goes down and other days the number increases a little bit...
Just curious as to what I should be looking for in the numbers.

I heard sharepro's software isn't good. Try alexa link booster..

Better to just hang around webmaster sites and keep posting there with your site on the sig. That should boost Alexa.
