Alexa Goes up, Weekly Backlinks, 10 Sites, All Optimized. WTF AM I DOING WRONG?

I don't get this, I thought SEO was suppose to get you alot of traffic! I use to promote though youtube and get 1000's of traffic but not anymore YT seems to be out.

Now i've always been educated with BH and WH SEO so i decided to try and get traffic from search engines which i understand I have to be paitent.

In the last month i've jumped up about 500-7000% on various sites. I have over 40-200 backlinks on 2 of my main domains. Adsense CTR pages at 30+% usually.

How much traffic do I get daily? umm 10-30

$0 on adesnse.

All my sites have pure original content hand written 300-400 characters long.

Each page has a sitemap and SEO Friendly. Keywords are all good.

I have sites on Making Money, Entertainment, Stocks, Cars, Insurance, etc

high paying niches.

I am on Bing, yahoo, google, ask, aol, etc etc u get the idea.

WHERE ARE MY TRAFFIC? HOW LONG DOES ALL THAT WORK TAKE TO SHOW PROGRASS?

I am going to give up unless maybe someone here can help me out? because the only targeted traffic i can get is from CL or YT or MYSPACE. Search Engines are killing me here!!! ahhhh

PS: I make a ton on the side with affiliate marketing but i'm beginning to think this Search Engine is BS.

I have a question. if you read this how many of you get 1000's of targeted traffic? if your established like bhw or myspace don't answer lol

You mean you have that many backlinks indexed? How many are you showing in Yahoo site explorer?

Okay, but where are you ranked? How much search volume are your keywords getting daily? Are they even keywords that a buyer would use, or just a browser?


You need to give quite a bit more information here. If you're ranked page 1 for ANY competitive term, you will get traffic. Obviously youre either not ranking well in the SERPs yet, or youre targeting low volume keywords.

heY HEY the backlinks are fine, no problem there. didn't get sandboxed for it so i'm not concern about that.

keywords i use? i did alot of research and used keyword tools. it's not web keywords for example i use specific keywords that get thousands of searches and no results. like some would do 'how to make money online' i would research that keyword i won't use it. i would end up using something like "make moneyonline now" like a typo search keyword. but i don't always do that. Just for special keywords.

Well on Alexa I rank on 1 site 883,000, other 1.5 mill, 3 mill, 4 mill, my new site has 15mill lol

What are you saying here - that you can't hold high positions on the search engines? Or that you are in good positions, but still no traffic?

How can you not know the inns and outs of all this if you make a "ton on the side" from affiliate marketing? Many, many keywords have shockingly few searches per month and adwords is totally unreliable.

If it's adsense cash you want, you need many thousands of uniques a day. I had 30,000 uniques a day but it took 1 year. It made me $100 dollars a day, until it got taken down manually by Google's quality raters.

i make a ton on affliate marketing getting trafic from social sites and CL. not search engines. i think maybe i'll stick with those traffic and be paitent with the search engines.. see what happens...

30,000 uniques man thats's great i hope you did somethin else with your domain because that's a lot of uniques to waste. What was yoru site about that made google take it down?

Celebrity news. It was taken down for relying too heavily on dupe content. And it wasn't really taken down, just had a G penalty applied to it.

I have never got social media traffic as I can't imagine it ever converting, but if what you say is true then its worth a shot. Search engines are the way to go, but you have to think differently. Don't invest too hard in a few domains. You need to try as many niches as possible to see what works, and then build up from there. Use web 2.0 properties to dig out a "colony" on page 1 and 2, which will slowly drag your main site up as the months go by.

I see. thx for your help.. and hey if you haven't tried out other traffic sources like social, etc i think your missing out, they are highly targeted and convert quick. i promoted an affiliate on myspace and i bank anywhere between 400-500 a day estimated. so try it out you might be surprises.

Youtube use to work good now they seem to be upgraded and i don't get as much views as i use to. it kinda sucks..

i owned a celebrity site with adsense, the pay was ridicious mostly penny clicks. i made about 20 a day on adsense with it. but i only got 1500 uniques a day. I wish i had your 30,000 for my new site. The ppc very high from what i got so far. I get anywhere from 1.50-3.00 a click! that is why i want more traffic hah i can't wait...

How many pages are indexed? <---- This is key right here. Maybe you only have a handful of pages indexed. IF so then just be patient, make sure google is visiting your site, and more pages should get indexed. After they get indexed your new job is to get them up in the SERPs. That is a much harder process although it sounds like you are working hard at it with the BL's.

well i think that's my poblem, the sites are not too old. Maybe 3 months? the domains were over a year old each just never did work on them.

I am doing this as my white hat business for the long turn. right now i promote other stuff for quick money.

How many pages are indexed? Everytime i write a new article, it shows up within minutes on google when i do a Site:www ffrdsgrdgr. com lookup.

i am currently waiting for google to reindex so my old junk pages are removed from the search engines.. any idea when that happens like an estimated wait?

and the BLs believe me i work hard hah but im not new at any of this. i am catious with BLs i understand google hates people who manuiplulate the search engines using them.

what do you mean serps? this is something i honestly know nothing about hah don't laugh i must have missed it doing freaking affiliate making on social and tube sites lol
