I am thinking the same. Plus, the claim that Devin will be "just" you nice and helpful AI buddy to increase productivity. But in then end, the market decides. Yes, now they are using marketing techniques like e.g. "random sample of 25% of the coding challenges" == trying out 100 times and publishing the best result. But this is a serious threat for every developer, maybe not now, but soon. Prepare that your salary will decrease.

Haha, don't worry, AI isn't replacing coders... yet. Think of them more like super-powered coding assistants. They can automate repetitive tasks, write some code, but they still need humans for the big picture stuff, like design and creative problem-solving. So maybe it'll be "Human-AI Software Engineer" in the future?
