I listened to this and damn its almost perfectly simulated. Imagine sound engineers/producers/ghostwriters will be able to release songs without an artist, and im not even sure if artists are able to patent the sound of their voice

and the list goes on....

You're right, AI technology is advancing rapidly and it has the potential to revolutionize the music industry. However the ability to simulate voices and create music without traditional artists raises interesting questions about ownership and patents.

Yes, it's amazing how realistic and convincing AI-generated voices have become. And you're right, in the future it could lead to new business models where sound engineers/producers/ghostwriters can create entire songs without the need for a human artist. As for patenting the sound of their voice, that's an interesting question. Currently, it's not possible to patent a sound or a voice, but there are other forms of intellectual property protection that artists can use to protect their creations.

I tried finding how to create these songs with AI but it is hard. It seems like it is easy but it isn't.
I found some Ai's that can provide you music, lyrics and other stuff. But i tried it a few months back.
I am pretty sure in near future there will be some paid AI's that will just ask you to upload music sample and the lyrics and it will autogenerate everything.

There are already AI systems that can generate music and lyrics to some extent, but they still have limitations in terms of creativity and originality. However, as the technology continues to improve, it's very possible that we will see more sophisticated AI systems that can generate music that is indistinguishable from something created by a human. And yes, it's also possible that there will be paid AI services that can provide this kind of music creation in the future. Once the richest people in the world see the potential in this and invest billions in AI we will know for sure. It will be interesting to see how this technology evolves in the coming years.

Wow - the Drake song is incredible.
Yeah I couldn't believe it at first until I saw how they are made.

can you name some of these AI systems? I am looking for them actually, can they produce simple sound effects too (for games)

Also curious with the apps.. can u share mate..
The ones I know of are:
OpenAI's MuseNet
Google's Magenta
AIVA (Artificial Intelligence Virtual Artist)
AmperMusic
JukeDeck and MeloDrive. I bet there are lots more that I don't know of though.

thx for the reply, will try to check and find out :)

Interesting stuff, song artists can convert their song to seem like it was sung by a known artist.
Imagine doing that and making it go viral and in the end saying "this song was actually originally made by xx"
Instant fame.

This is really scary and amazing, I mean how AI is capable to replicate and sound human, a few days ago saw a podcaster making a statement that someone used AI to take out of content his podcast and use racial slurs with his voice using AI so this is a big deal now also a another guy prohibit to use his voice on AI once he is death and avoid to get music with people he hate or never talked to so no one can't profit over his voice after death.

For this song you need an artist to sing / rap the song and after that you switch the voice to drake with ai.

Sounds awesome :)

Looks like Drake will flip some burgers in the future, lol.

Its only going to be good when they can remake Biggie, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Eazy E, Tupac etc! And we can make tracks and release them for a cut of the revenue share! Use ai to build our own beats, and then ai to voice them, and then rev share with the label on spotify. Its coming, there was an artist offering the same for her voice if you copy it with AI the method is coming soon! lol
