I am trying Ai content on new affiliate websites but the earnings are very less. I expect to increase with time though.

People running AI websites generally try to rank for low competitive keywords targeting informative subjects. Affiliate topics are generally more competitive and hard to rank because the content you find in the SERPs is generally huge on most of the sites and they try to make a lot of backlinks to each page to stay at the top.
