I noticed when using Ahrefs, it's showing that I have redirects. The site listed for them is http://www.analyzesiteseo.com/ and I'm not sure why or what this means. I also noticed that my site is showing 24 new backlinks and the site listed is also from that site.

Could someone explain what this means, why it would happen, and whether this is bad? Thanks.

Did you buy the domain, or were you the first to register it?

It appears that analyzesiteseo redirects to you - and that can be good or bad, depending on the quality and potential penalties (if any) applied to the site redirecting to you...

I bought the domain on namecheap. Not sure if it was ever expired but don't think so? How would I find out? All I know is there was no backlinks pointing to it only the ones from me. But when I put in analyzesiteseo.com it goes to their site. Doesn't a redirect mean it would go to mine?

You can check if the domain was registered before by using to way back machine

Such sites will always come up as redirects or backlinks, nothing to worry about as google probably ignores such links/redirects.

Thats probably because that domain was redirecting to your domain before and now they have removed the redirect due to which its not redirecting. Maybe you got a dropped domain(Unknowingly). Give Ahrefs some time to update so you won't see that domain in redirect section soon. Also check the "last seen" column in ahrefs if it shows the last date when it was crawled..That could give an idea
