Ahref report DR rank, it's weird

I think DR consider to the link quality, otherwise alot website with thounsands spamy links will get the high DR.

Again, read what Ahrefs themselves said. A high DR link from website with lots of OBL (eg Forbes, BBC etc) is pushing your DR less than 20 DR PBN with 20 OBL. Now if you agree that a 20 DR PBN link is stronger, more authority or better quality than BBC link... well.

This. I built a site as well with links mostly available on BHW (thanks to rachmaninoff) and it went up to 52. It sat around there for almost 3 months and went down to 28. No crappy links built afterwards.

How about the traffic of your site? I have a site, i acquired some of the high authority links and the DR went from 2 to 32 in a week, but i did not see any change in the traffic or authority, its still getting almost 0 traffic from search engine.

My site is just 4 months old, it does not have traffic yet.
main keywords are still page 3, 4

Ahref is a frivolous tool. Don't depend on it.

Ahrefs is the best SEO tool out there. However even the best tool cant do much, if the user doesnt know what is doing.

Are you've redirecting a site to your domain ?

Even ahrefs mention that these metrics are not exact as they can be used as the main metrics. They can give you a first understanding of the website and they can highly vary. I personally don't know how they are calculated and never read about it.

However, use these metrics to take a first look at the page or domain.
But the better use of ahrefs is about discovering backlinks, check each one of them manually, the quality of the content, the age of the backlink/website and all the other google factors...

And remember, Google SERPs will remain the only real metrics and the one that worth the work!
