Hey everyone,

Man have I been having bad luck. LOL. Yesterday with CL, today with this.

I am making a site. It has nothing to do with blackhatworld.com at all. It is a personal political blog.

Now, I wonder how hard can THAT be? I have had it up for about a week and have 10 articles up. It is not even indexed yet. Usually, I can get my sites indexed within a few days. I get the keywords down and everything.

But this time, no matter what I put in, it says that the relevance it poor for everything.

title strength - 26.15% - POOR
meta_description strength - 34.80% - POOR
meta_keywords strength - 26.66% - POOR

I put in political keywords such "barack obama sarah palin big three abortion gay marriage democrat republican liberal republican illegal immigrants neocon george bush politics dick cheney socialism health care reform stem cell research religious right pro choice pro life gun rights foreign relationship Darfur" since I plan on writing about them. Some I have already written about in my blog. Even if I only put in keywords that have to do with things I post, I still get a poor rating.

But it keeps on saying everything is poor no matter what.

Don't get me wrong. I am not looking for spoon feeding. As stated, I have had success with sites before. I know what to do! It is just not working! I just do not understand what is going on with this one!

Any help please?

WARNING-this is a LIBERAL site so don't be angry or do not visit if you are a conservative. :D My URL is http://www.mypoliticalmind.com

Thank you all!

What is saying the relevance is poor?

The meta keywords don't matter, none of the big search engines use it for ranking anymore. The keywords in the description meta tag don't matter for ranking, only for showing in the search results and convincing people to click on your link.

It looks like your trying to target too many keywords on your home page. You need to have different pages targeting a different keyword or just a few. Without a lot of backlinks which have anchor text containing lots of different keywords, you won't be able to rank a single page for lots of different keywords.

Since it's a blog, just focus each post on a set of keywords and build backlinks to the home page using your site's main keywords as anchor text.

Thank you for your response.

Right. Do this counts as one page. I am trying to target too many huh? Yes, I do have the option of adding keywords to every post.

Are you saying that is the better alternative? Thanks again, hon :).

http://logyourlink.com/index.pl is saying that my keywords are bad.

The keywords in the meta tags won't help. The search engines stopped using it as a factor in ranking a while a go due to too many people abusing it and putting in keywords off topic from the page.

For each post, use the keywords you want to target in the page title, content and alt tags of the images. Link to each article with the keywords in the anchor text if you can. For your home page, pick the main keywords of the site and put it in the title and page content as well.

From there it's just a matter of using your backlinking strategies. Make sure you are using some good SEO plugins for wordpress.
