    Two related Qs:

    1. How do you create such sites (e.g.
    Code:
    w3.trendite.in
) - sites that show trend snippets from Google trends, yahoo buzz, etc.

    2. How can you feed wordpress blogs from google search results for news, blogs - for specific keywords automatically? I have seen a lot of sites do it - are there any plugins?

    Pl. advice.

Dude, it's very easy to make this!! Just go to google trends and yahoo buzz, see a little funny icon called "Rss". This is all made with the rss feeds from yahoo buzz and google trends. Both have rss feeds. You just need to get the rss feeds, store them on a database, add some little javascript effets to simulate ajax, that's it!

For question 2, I've already done that with a few php lines, you can just extract the results from hxxp://www.google.com/search?q=[your_keyword], this way you can make a simple script that give you automatically the serch results for any keywords.

You can also add some other parameters in the url to get more results like search?q=[your_keyword]&num=100 to get 100 results per page instead of the default 10, and the "start" parameter allows you to get to all the serps (i.e. num=100&start=100 for page 2 that gives results from 100 to 200, num=100&start=200 for page 3 and so on)
So you can easily get the 1000 google results for any keyword.

There are probably some even better ways to do so with the google API, but I don't know much about it...
