When you buy an aged domain, in order to keep its aged do you have to rebuild the whole site? If not then what I have to do?

In order to keep it aged, it's not necessary to get the previous content. You can get away with new content..

If I can just hijack the thread real quick.

I was planning on buying an aged pr domain and do a simple 301 redirect for my new health site that I am about to start in order to make rankings happen a bit faster. Does it matter if the site was related to health and what type of anchor text they wre using to backlink their site? Note that I simply want to make rankings happen quicker for the site and I will probably be looking to find a domain that is atleast a few months old with PR 2 or more.

    Thanks in advance.

THis won't drectly answer but may help. I bought a domain and was going o throw it in my private network. So I set it up for that . A little later I changed my mind. I then pblasted it with the anchor text of the site I was going to redirect it too. Waited a week and then redirected it. Worked pretty well.
