After scrapebox blast I lost an average of 3 spots across the board. Any suggestions??????

    Hello my BHW brothers,

I got bumped to the last spot on page 1 and first spot on page 2 for a good portion of my keywords. I did a blast to combat the loss and the result is I lost an average of 3 spots across the board.

    Has anyone experienced this before?

In the SEO equation, is my press releases and directory lacking? Basically what i mean is, I did a couple press releases to 200 sites and about 300 high pr directory submissions. However, I haven't done anymore for a couple months. I have only done scrapebox blast...

Any suggestions is appreciated as I am scared to blast anymore....

txhepoker, how long ago was the SB blast and how long ago did your links drop in rank?

The reason I ask is because if it was a very large SB blast then you've likely entered what is referred to as the "Google Dance".

What this means is that Google has noticed that based on their algorithms certain sites have improved in rank and certain sites have dropped. So what Google does, in simple terms, is that they shuffle the proverbial deck of cards (websites). When they do this it creates a "disturbance in the force" during which Google is reassigning SERP's. This can take from a few days to a few weeks but more often than not, once Google finishes it's thing your site will get a bump to a higher SERP ranking.

In other words, if this is something that happened recently then just wait it out and your sites will likely not only come back to high ranking but may very well be placed higher than before. Give it some time and in the meantime I suggest the continued use of ScrapeBox as this is the best/safest time to do so.

    Hope this helps.

Is there such a thing as associating your site with spam?

    BHW brothers,

Thaank you for your reply. The blast was about a week ago. I am very familiar with the google dance as i have been through 2 google penalties before. This particular site has such a small niche market that if i blast directly, i am hitting my competitors directly. So my blast was non niche specific but my name and post was crazy with keywords...

I guess I was just wondering if refocused on non backlink seo would it make a serp difference. Just kind off freaked me out the average serp drop for my domain. As minimal as it is, these spots are the difference between page 1 and 2.

Thanks again and I hope you all are doing kicking ass in your markets!!!

Dont keyword stuff your pages because after the blasts you will get googles atention and it will give you penalties for on page seo.
I dont think you manage to build such an excesive linkbuilding to get marked as a spamer but it also depends on how you did it

Really, just how spammy was the blast? So much of this nonsense can be categorized as spam making it easy for Akismet and Spamhaus to flag to it. Also, how about your IP addresses? Same old abused IPs everyone else is using? There is nothing Spamhaus likes better than people blasting spam with same IP address. You make their jobs so much easier.

its almost March, google dance is playing in the horizon. keep building it up and dont rely too much on just blog comments, mix a few other stuff and you will be fine
