I do only scrapebox blasts and my sites are good, i always choose low competiton keywords and i am always between 1 and 3 place for the main keywords, i dont like to work hard, sometimes i use angela and paul type of backlinks :)

Panda is a content update. Backlinks have nothing to do with panda. The backlinks that have always worked still work, quality ones.

Panda my ar se, this fury update is as useful as a chocolate fireguard, a Google inspired "were doing something about it" statement when in reality there not really.

I have heard the best tactic is to build 30 or so super high quality links from respected (high PR and not a ton of OBL) blogs as soon as you launch your site and then a few days later build 80-100 shitty profile links with very little if any varying anchor text. No pinging.

Then do it over again in the same order.

I have not personally tested it, but some people who I respect have been doing it like that and ranking niche blogs really well. I guess it looks more natural.

I am about to adopt that technique for some niche blogs myself, not sure if it works for super competitive niches, though.

backlinks are backlinks, google just bs man. The first rule is this: site a has x hundred backlinks from on topic sites = gooood, the rest are variable, they cant analyse all this shit, they're not the borg!
