    Hello :D

I have received 2 DMCA complaints from a lawyer in Europe concerning 2 of my domains because the topic/niche of them (which are both about the same) allegedly is against the copyright of the brand. Last year and the year before I made money already with the same topic/niche (every year a new edition of it exists) and back then I already received the same complains but nothing happened. The thing is the said brand is only protected in the EU, but my domains are registered and hosted in the US. In the US the brand name in fact belongs to a whole different HUGE company.

Now I ask myself, should I perhaps offer them the domains for purchase? Would that be safe? Has anyone experience with something maybe?

    Regards

That is not my problem, of course nothing will happen, but I ask myself, should I offer them the websites for purchase perhaps?

You can try but if the brand is trademarked and you use the brand/trademark in your domain then they can just claim the sites off you, they don't need to buy them.

Just ignore them. If they will contact your hosting company, you can switch to offshore abuse proof hosting.

They contacted the domain registrar as well, just as in the past years, but they didn't do anything.

For how much should I offer them the domains?

I am very certain that nothing will happen just like in the past. But it seems they really are eager for any of such websites to be taken offline. That's why I thought about offering them the domain for purchase,

There are too many variables to give you a figure, only they will know how much the domains are worth to them, and as I stated previously if you are using their trademark in the domains they don't need to pay you anything to claim them.
TBH, the domains probably aren't worth anything and they are unlikely to be interested.
If you have taken down the copyrighted material then you could try to sell them on Flippa etc.

Probably a fake DMCA, i get loads twitter related, forget selling it, if they want your domain they will force u to hand it over, like what happen with tweetattacks some 4 years ago.Just waiting for the followerliker one. boom that will hurt bhw members.

If they were nothing worth I would not consider selling them. I would offer them to them for probably 2500 $ or so.

No harm in trying, but at the same time, do you want to attract further attention to yourself?
If you were using their copyrighted materials on the site, and if they suffered any financial loss then potentially they could sue you.
Anyway, give it a go and let us know how it works out.

I ever had a domain with Amazon keyword in it. They send me a nice email and buy the domain off for $10.
