Firstly, apologies if posted in the wrong area. I could not find a section which this question would best fit into.
I have just finished writing an ebook aimed at the no programmer teaching them how to make money with affiliate marketing; how to join networks, find the best programs and the type of site that they should be making to promote the products and finally how they would go about making such a site.
Now the book is just about finished i have two options:
1) Sell it in the format above to people via forms and twitter marketing for about $15, or
2) Give the ebook away for free but delete all the section on exactly how to make the websites to sell your products. I will leave in an explanation of what a good site is etc but not tell the user how to make one. The revenue source would then be to sell a service in the ebook via my web design company which would get a site made for the individual for $10 in less an 24 hours (i can turn the site around in less than 10 mins myself as i have auto installer scripts designed for them programs i use!). I would then later in the book also promote a traffic generation system in which a uer joins us for a fee of $10 a month and we will promote their new affiliate based website via a number of tools we own; link exchanges, cloaking pages, auto article submission etc - again all more or less automated from our end.
I am currently stuck with the decision on which model to go with. The selling it approach will bring in some cash upfront but it is hard to sell an ebook to people online, whereas the free approach will get the ebook out on the web in the thousands hopefully but then i need to get people to sign up to the additional services.....
The one advantage the free approach does have is that if people join our traffic management program it will be a $10 a month fee (maybe higher, havent priced it yet) so we will have a returning income on this service.
Anyway..if anyone has an opinion on this please drop me a reply
thanks
