I got a hold of them and after a week was told my address is not valid and to change it if I want my listing to reappear. Its been over 3 years. They have called a few times to verify the address and this last time decided it was no good. Over the years I have had phone book listing and hundred of citations and other local listing places go to this address. Now I need to change them all? I dont even know them all. I emailed them back telling them they were wrong, but I dont think it will help.
Whats the best way to find all my citations and change them? If I move the address 5 miles down the road to my house, will that effect my place in the local list still? I was number 2. I could move it the address to an office building next to the city center, which also houses the number one listing. I would need to forward the mail though a soon as I did that.

Is this address a mailbox business? Sounds like they discovered you didn't have a real physical business address and you were using some sort of drop box address. Could customers drive to your business during business hours and engage with you or your employees, or did they find a mailbox and were pissed?

That was our parking lot where we store cars. No one is there.

Client of ours had his listing deleted yesterday after two calls from google- real address- but he works out of his house. I guess G isn't allowing home based businesses anymore.

Well I changed it to the office space. No change in the listing or my google SERPS. They still show the old address and the local listing is still gone. I would think google would have this figured out and be able to do it quickly.

If this ever does come back, or I just start a new page, whats a good price to pay someone to go to a list of citations I give them and change the address to the new one?
