I registered on Clickbank, and I started to upload videos on youtube promoting some products. Using Movie Maker, I add a title to the beginning and end of every video promoting an affiliate product. Can someone give me some advice or help me out in this venture? Any advice would be apprciated, thanks!

Hi mrpatel786, based on the information in this forum, youtube traffic is not performing very well in term of conversion to affiliate products (haven't tried it my self hence you might want to give it a shot, the result might be different than others) however it does convert for other types of money making scheme such as CPA offers.

If you wish to learn more details about monetizing youtube traffic for CPA offers then follow this link

Hope it helps.

I tried using ClickBank for YT with no success. Using things for youtube that require the user to buy something doesn't work as well if you try to trick them into thinking they're gonna get something for free by filling out offers.Hint Hint lol

I have to disagree with budhi1976. I have made 5 figures this year just with ClickBank on you tube. I have had a good number of $500+ days. The reason many other people fail is they just don't know how to promote CB products the right way and many people do not choose the right products. I can give you some advice though. I have made most of my money off videos I have made, not water marking popular videos or what ever. My videos are just about the product, and the title and tags are also related (at least semi related) to the product. It is important to say in the video "click the link in the video description" because it works better than just an annotation or something. Also I recommend using different links on different accounts because if you don't you can just do a search and find all of your accounts(which u-tube may choose to delete). Also I recommend focussing on a small number of products.

That's interesting, TheInternetHustler. Never tried marketing CB products on YT before.

Could you tell us a bit more regarding your choice of products: low/high ticket items; niche products or "make money online" type of; already popular/"in the buzz" or not; etc ?

Also, could you tell us what kind of videos you put up ( simple slideshows, sth. with camtasia, etc ) ?

Any advice will be much appreciated :-)

I am with IMATA and would like a little bit more information from TheInternetHustler in regards to what products you are selling.

(before my account was deactivated[see my thread about that]) I promoted popular products on cb. NO make money products or small niche products. I promoted movie and music download sites and world of warcraft guides(I wont tell you my number one earner though, because I still make a lot of money with that type of product)

My best videos were ones I made with screen capture (camtasia) and narrated. I tryed simple slide shows with out me talking, but that didn't work.

Thx a lot for the info, mate. I'll certainly give it a try. And congratulations on your success.

Hi did you have $500+ days spamming your CB link using the hundreds or thousands?? of hijacked accounts google reported you to CB for??

Because seriously..first off I would shoot myself in my left nut if I had to camtasia 50+ videos of me showing how great some ebook is

Secondly if your video ain't entertaining enough to go viral, or doesn't have a thumbnail of some huge tits you're going to get shit for traffic..

Thanks a lot,that's a great idea.
it seem the key is how to make some vidoes really for the products but it's hard for me.any advice here?

I never hijacked accounts to post videos.

In the beginning I made 50+ videos and uploaded manually. It was boring but each video was only 1-2 minutes and if you make a couple each day it adds up. The most I was able to upload in a day was 20 (took like an hour to get that set up each day). I didn't use any software or anything to promote my videos, just well chosen tags and titles and original(but lame) videos. By I was able to make $100-$250 a day this way. By the time I started to always make over a hundred a day I only had 50 accounts and many of the accounts had only a couple videos. around that time I made this ebook..

It isn't that great actually, so don't complain if you buy it.

How did I get traffic? No boobie thumbnails (although I made sure I had good relevant thumbnails). My videos were not going viral but when you have a lot of videos getting 100+ views a day and some getting considerably more you don't need your videos to go viral because if you have enough videos the views add up.

The money did not come quickly, I took a long time and a lot of work to get consistent sales.

Then I discovered black hat world and move on to better things.. like tube automator..

and

My videos SUCKED, I got a lot of comments like "are you high?" It doesn't matter though because people get curious and click the link anyway. I just made short videos, like a review of the website.

TheInternetHustler, mind replying back to my PM?

thanks.

Also do a search in here for some video traffic books, theres a few in here about turning articles into videos, plr content, tips, lessons etc. You can also search around top article submission sites ezine articles like that and take some of their ideas and good performers and turn out some video articles on them as well. u tube also grabs good rank for your keywords/longtails so take advantage of that too, also take that 1 single video and submit it to other high pr video sites using other keywords for title to spread out your ranking domination. Anyway, just do some homework in the bhw search.

so lesson learnt........it is easier to get 100 videos with 100 views a day than one video with 100000 views a day :)

I recently started promoting offers as well. Email submits and Zip submits work well. If you actually try selling a product, stick with ones that cost no more than 10-20 bucks. I do about 5 videos on one account. Right now I got my IP banned for not using a proxy with tube automator (I was lazy and in a hurry). Once I get a new IP thursday when the IP lease runs out, I will be back in action.

I do a little of everything. I try to use keywords in my titles and descriptions and mix them up. You are right a few videos across 100 accounts brings in more traffic than just a few accounts with tons of videos on them.

Just say you have 5 accounts, with 20 videos each. You get 2 of them banned losing 40 videos. That is a huge hit, and you will notice a huge loss in traffic/conversions. But if you have 100 accounts with 2-5 videos on each, and you get even 5 of them banned, you probably wont notice as big of a difference.

I also noticed a trend in traffic. When you first upload a video, you get a nice spurt of traffic. That traffic lasts maybe a day. Then the traffic trickles in. Leave it alone for about 2-3 weeks, and the traffic steadily grows. The traffic starts growing with age.

Right now I use tube increasor and boost each of my new videos to about 10k views. I then create another account with only 1-2 videos. I use Tube Automator to boost those to the front pages of YouTube to get a huge spurt of traffic. I also have accounts I just upload with good titles, descriptions, then forget about.

With only using a few accounts, you are a needle in a haystack. With using tons of accounts 50+ you become the haystack in a barn which is much easier to find.

For those of you who haven't used or heard of Tube Automator, check out my Video Tutorial over it: http://www.shudogg.com/tube-automator-youtube-video-marketing/

It really as an amazing software that everyone marketing on youtube should have in their toolbox.

hi guys,i found great info here, thanks to the internethustler :) but i had a problem.. which product should i promote.???? Im still blurr with this.. especially by using youtube as marketing method

There are a number of different niches and products to go after.

Obviously, no one is going to hand you one of their profitable niches.
