Hello everyone, I created an online store focusing on paintings, I did good keyword research (looked for a easy keyword to rank) and did moderate seo. Without much effort the website is 2nd on my country and 5th on the targeted country for a buying keyword related to paintings. I am getting more than 30 uniques per day but the website doesn't convert at all. (I know 30 uniques in not much, but it is a buying keyword and I am not looking to convert everyday, the sales give me from 20-100$ each, with 30 uniques I was looking to, at least, make a sale per month, which is not happening).

    The main problems are:
--> The website is not in English language, but I am redirecting my traffic to a English store. (To fix this I thought about making my website a real store and outsource the paintings from the other website, would this be legal?)

--> I heard traffic outside the US doesn't convert as much, would this be a problem? What are some good ways to monetize traffic outside the US?

--> One other problem is that the website doesn't have enough content to be seen as authoritative, so people can be skeptic about buying from it, but I dont want to waste more time in this project if it will never convert, I have other projects that are profitable which I am happy to spend my time with if this is not going to convert well.

If you need to check out the website please pm me and I will send you the link.

How easy is it for them to buy? Are your products prominent? Does the site design look professional? For you to have 0 conversions probably means there is something either making it hard for them to buy or they simply do not trust your site. Even with just 30 visits per day I would guess you should make 1 sales every 3 or 4 days from that traffic especially if it is a buying keyword. Honestly I would expect higher but 1% means 1 buy for every 100...

    How much are your paintings.

    If you're making $20 - $100 I'm guessing there like $100 - $500.

Or are they much more expensive and you don't really make much of a commission?

->As the website is merely a gateway to the affiliated website, all they have to do is click the product, click the buy now button and then they are taken the affiliated website's product page.
->The products are 100% related to the keyword, altough, my website doesn't have much products unlike my competitors stores, so this could be a problem.
->In my opinion the design is good, I am using e-store from elegant themes, configured it all, just desactivated the internal store the theme has so it could be used for affiliate products.
I'm going to drop you a pm with the link, help me out on this.

The paintings are 60-300$, I am signed for a 20% commission each sale, the 20-100$ was a bit off, it can be a little lower and a little higher.

The site looks nice, maybe add some more products and I gave you some tips but I am not sure they apply to you. But for the sake of others I will post my advice here too.

If it is my site and they are googling "red duck shirts" I want to make sure they land on the page where I am selling red duck shirts, not my homepage or any other pages. In addition the buy opportunity should happen as fast as possible (especially if they are reaching you via "Buy XYZ") meaning the redirection to the affiliate program should be fast. There is a 20 second delay unless the user clicks again, I am a believer that the more clicks you have to do to buy, the less sales you will get.

Finally, only share your url with trusted memebers. Some will try to steal your niche others may spam your site.
