Affiliate Site X

Well, being a more traditional sort of website owner I'm kinda new to the whole affiliate thing.

But I figure that if I have to work so hard to get my site noticed and then have to work some more to stock and deliver my product, life might be easier if I just promote someone else's - right? So that has been my introduction to affiliate marketing.

I learn pretty fast, but there's so many sharks out there waiting to relieve me of the little money I have left - so I figure I'd ask some advice from you guys:

I've seen sales pitch for Affiliate Site X - is it any good? The idea is it imitates a successful affiliate marketer and lets you ride his coat tails so to speak.

Is there any decent software that will more or less do the job for you? Or is that just too much to hope for? What about the Simplified SEC advertised on here? Or Pagebuiler Pro. Or Sitebuilder Elite. Perhaps with a content rewriter thrown in?

Any other words of wisdom to someone new to this game?

I bought some stuff from DJK a while back who I believe also owns Aff site X. Basically it taught me how to set up an adwords account, and let me in the members area where you can manage your campaigns, and they offer a link cloaker for your aff links.

Exactly what are your goals? Are you looking to sell affiliate products on your website, through PPC, or what. The more specific you are, the easier it will be for people to help you.

Whatever you do, don't just buy something because of a spiffy sales page and a good pitch. Look around and do some research on this forum and others before you make a decision to buy.

Sounds like a different product - this one has been designed to imitate the decision making process of a successful affiliate marketer - but good to know that what you bought from them was helpful.

I'm already clued up with adwords, it was one of my first experiences in losing money fast

I have no plans to monetise my existing commercial site, but I am planning to develop a range of sites for the purpose of adwords/affiliate marketing. I'll use some of the white hat experience already gained and have some fun experimenting with black hat, fully prepared for sites to get junked. It will be a useful learning process.

Hopefully that's specific enough?

And yes, I'm doing my research now - hence the post! Have made waaaaayy too many expensive mistakes already!

you should really get Chris Mcneeney's Adwords Miracle, Affiliate Project X, and Day Job Killer. I am not a fan of the "guru's", but Chris does offer some great info that can really help to get you on the right side of the learning curve in these 3 guides. if you dig a little, i think you can find all 3 in this forum.

I have been investigating the affilate site x packages and the massive affiliate marketing industry for some time now. I signed up for a free site (as you put riding the coat tails of an already successful product) WITHOUT the super affiliate package (that they give a brilliant sales pitch for I must add) and was almost ready to buy. Then I realised it was just another sales pitch and from the research I had done with adwords, clickbank and other online marketing options I decided to see what could be done with the free website and my own research into the online world.

The only concern I have (which unbelievably got a response from Chris x or one of the sales team) was that it is only the PRODUCT(e-book) you are trying to sell on their behalf that you get the commissions on not any sales of the super affiliate site that may have been referred by your free site($77USD Maybe that is why 10% of affiliate marketers are making 90% of the money....the 90%'s money). If you take a look closely at the free websites, about 60% of the initial viewable page is designed to bring on new affiliates by offering the free site and to make it worse, a pop up/slide down window over rules the product offering a free website and a way to make money...so what really is the potential to sell the e-books by spending money on adwords, further education into affiliate marketing to make money??

My thoughts are, there is real potential however, find a better product offering a real partnership in selling their well thought of idea (alot out there offering 75%), not one just interested in building their own database and having that loophole for generating their own cash flow..."Look, here is the proof of what I made last month"..haha

NOTHING is free, and I am sure that is what Chris X or whoever he is is saying to justify overriding the partnership for his own money taking opportunity! I am trialling the free site to a certain target market for 30 days at 500 hits a day. If nothing comes of it then I will use my services and knowledge for another product available in the marketplace. If you want to hear some of my strategies, drop me a line.
