    Hi Guys

I'm going to start promoting my first [email protected] product.

I have read a lot from this forum on how to start promotions however choosing the right product to promote is still confusing.

From all the videos I watched, promoting a product with high gravity seems to be working for most.

Now, doesn't that mean there is high competition there already if I were to promote a high gravity product ??

The higher the competition, the harder it gets right ?

What should a newbie start out with ?? a high gravity product like 150+ gravity or one with a lesser gravity say 50+.

Some people will tell you that you shouldn't reinvent the wheel - that if a product has a high gravity it means it converts well, so drive traffic to that.

I prefer to sell products with lower gravity and far fewer affiliates promoting hte product. Unfortunately you will have some losers with this strategy because sometimes you'll pick something that isn't converting well, but many products with low gravity just don't have as many aggressive affiliates promoting them, they don't necessarily suck.

If you stay out of the make money/computing industries, and maybe be careful about weight loss products too, there's a ton of money to be made promoting other stuff.

I was doing really well with Clickbank until October when their tracking started to go to shit. I changed most of my product links over to products on or e=junkie and conversions came back for me. So be very careful about using Clickbank right now. They have some really problems on the tracking end.
