I notice in some threads that some Affiliate Managers are recruiting affiliates in BHW. That's not bad, it seems ok, in one way, but it make me nervous. totally freaking nervous. :D

Clamp down on this please. The AM would only recruit really skilled BHatters, and they dont come cheap.

THe skilled BHatter probably makes like a few K a day...which company has that much cash to blow on a BHatter!! LOL

Why does it make you nervous index, and why would it be stupid of them biz? They're middlemen who earn their livings off what their affiliates do, so it would be in their best interest to find the affiliates best able to get eyeballs... us!

Naturally, they're not looking for fraudsters but being BH in traffic gathering doesn't equate to fraud. In fact, I'm kind of disappointed that so many people have that attitude. The people who commit fraud under the guise of being BH have given us all a bad rap.

I know a couple of network owners who began their careers doing BH stuff as affiliates.

Its stupid to post your affiliate program on BHW and recruit affiliates, because any loopholes will be found and if the company offers email submits then its going to be blasted to hell and back with all types of Blackhat methods.

I agree that posting it in public wouldn't be very smart. I thought you were referring to direct recruiting, as in via PM or such.

Affiliate managers actually like to have a few skilled "blackhatters" why? Because they will make them money without getting them into trouble with the advertisers.

The kewyword here is SKILLED though :)

but blackhat leads rarely convert. Thats bad for the CPA company and their advertiser.

if all leads generated were BH, CPA companies would cease to exist as advertisers just wouldn't use them.

If they're recruiting BH marketers, i think they have a hidden ace up their sleeve ...

I see. Sorry, I missed that one. That really is a bad idea, on the part of the AM. Too many unscrupulous opportunists can see it.

I agree 100%. That's why I mentioned one-to-one recruitment. One can tell who is who... kind of.

I'm inclined to disagree with these type of blanket statements. If I were sending mostly non-converting leads to any of my networks, I'd expect to be questioned about it or invited to leave.

Nearly all of my leads are generated via some shade of black, or at least dark gray, methods and I have never been questioned. I know what my CRs are and they're good enough for the networks and the advertisers to like my traffic.

I'm afraid you may be generalizing and lumping BH in with some type of fraud. Unfortunately, the BH community has gotten that reputation because of people who commit those types of acts. I do not believe that a true BH marketer would stoop to outright fraud to accomplish his or her goals.

It's fine to receive private PM of AM, but now I'm starting to see all kind of pseudo AMs openly recreuting noobs, with amateurish sites, and maybe three months from now, threads will be initiate in The Shit List about them, and there dissapearing commissions.

If recruting noobs it's even better... We will get a lot easier to pass them by and get our commissions? ;)

That's why they're recruiting noobs, they'll never see a cent, none the BH professional.

    Bizcredit,

That thread is absolutely 100% false. One of our affiliate managers made this post from his office computer (the same computer I'm posting from now) and is ABSOLUTELY 100% false. We do NOT condone or accept "black hat" affiliates of any kind. I'm posting from Doug's account in an attempt to have that thread removed (this know-it-all has a password list on his computer). It was brought to my attention from a business associate of mine and Doug has since been fired from working with PeerFly Media.

I've contacted BlackHatWorld as well as reported the post. I apologize for the stupidity and false claims made by Doug, the now ex-employee.
