Affiliate Links In YouTube Video Descriptions?

Hey guys n gals, just wondering what the deal is with putting affiliate links in youtube video descriptions. we all know google doesn't like affiliate very much so was wondering if doing this leads to videos getting banned quicker or if its not a big deal at all.

My video was flagged and banned on YouTube for having an Amazon affiliate link in the description. It would be best to send the viewer to a landing page.

what about this idea, buy some generic domain and sending them to a page that 301's to my offer?
 
301 will not work dude. I have tried them. the best way is to build a landing page and put the link there. then put the landing page URL in YouTube. I always do this and it works good.
 
So having a domain that simply redirects to the affiliate link doesn't work? Even if the link you put in the description is completely innocent?

No, it won't if your video doesn't look like crap. As long as it won't get reported you're good.
