Hi to all, just read that who confuse me ????

"Over at SEOmoz, Rand gives us a wrap up of the Search Engineers session from SMX East which includes the fact that all of the search engine engineers agreed with Sean Suchter of Yahoo that if affiliate links come from relevant and trust worth sources, then those links may assist with the passing of link juice which has a direct effect on search engine rankings."

So if i understand well search engines read affiliates links who are from good quality ??:confused:

thanks for your help and confrmation

i was wondering the same thing for some time to.

an affiate link is still a link to the merchants domain. so it shouldn`t really matter to the search engines right?

i think it depends on the type of redirection used in the link. some affiliate-programs use 302 - some 301...

theoretically 301 redirects should pass linkjuice to the linked page... an onpage-affiliate program would be helpful too i guess....
