Alright, so I am a total PPC noob. Google offered me a $100 coupon to get started with adwords, so I gave them a call to get it set up. The rep asked for my landing page and said it could not be used because it contains affiliate links. She said my best option is to sell the product on my page instead of redirecting... which to my knowledge I cannot do.

So, what can I do to make my landing page Google acceptable and still get people to the product's site so I can make some money?

Turn your website into a product salespage instead, and then change it when they have accepted you? :)

What niche is it? There are certain niches they do not want. While I don't do much w/ Adwords, I never have any types of problems with my niches. I don't do Acai, work at home, etc and it maybe you are targeting one of the niches they no longer want to run ads for. Also, are you hiding your affiliate links?

I am focusing on a particular type of virus. So, antivirus software. And the links are hidden (behind text that has the name of the software). Affiliate links are kind of ugly.

anchor text and hiding an affiliate link are very different. Making text in a sentence a clickable link is anchor text, cloaking or hiding is different, and I am not sure exactly how to do this. I use php redirects from within my own site pages, or maybe a free tracking company like tracking 202 or clitrax or the like. If i am off on these please any other members speak up and help this cat out. Later-Peace.

The links are in anchored text then.
As far as the program, it is a relatively unknown tool.

They have become really good at finding and spotting affiliate marketers and banning their adwords account. Unless it is not your product, or your website's primary goal is not Aff marketing - you are not safe.
