Chinatown here,

I am going in on email marketing. I will not be growing my list through a landing page though.

I will be using the method that @shezboy gave BHW in his thread: [METHOD] How to turn $5 into as much money as you want.

Here is a quick rundown on the method.

I have purchased email subscriptions from Lead Serve. I paid $0.25 for each lead that was sent directly to my email campaign manager. I deposited $25, and Leadserve matched my deposit with $25. I have $50 to purchase leads. I just started my Leadserve campaign as you can see below. In a couple days we will see how well I can pickup ending emails that sell.

LEADSERVE - Copy.jpg

I use Sendlane to manage my email my email outreach. It's $9 a month to manage 500 email subscribers. It will send my email in an automatic sequence, so all I have to do is write emails when I feel like it and drop them in a sequence. I got my first unsubscriber. This will also serve as a test on the quality of subscribers you can get from Leadserve at $0.25 a lead.

I am using a particular method to e-mailing lists that are found in Ben Settle's Email Players monthly subscription. You can learn more about ben settle at his website http://bensettle.com/ if you don't know who he is.

According to the big Ben, I should be emailing my list EVERY DAY. Or at least E-mail my list every day with good emails. He is basically teaching how to write email copy.

Why do I trust him to teach how to write emails? Well because I have been subscribed to his email list for months now. He's good.

I am adding a
link to my Clickbank affiliate sales page for a weight loss product that supposedly converts quite well. I have a subdomain that is redirecting to my Clickbank affiliate offer to avoid any unnecessary email bottlenecks to my delivery rate.

cb stats.jpg

I have lost a lot of weight in my own life so I think I can connect to this market well. I used to be 236 pounds (almost 17 stone) at age 18, and I went down to 195 (just under 14 stone) at 5'11 in community college. I at least know what it's like to be fat.

I have no idea when I should be seeing sales. I will just go with the flow and see what sticks.

If I do start to see multiple sales I will dump more money into subscribers and I will cross-promote different offers as I segment my list into buyers.

I will be sharing my campaign success or failure every day. Wish me luck!

that a good way to earn money but looks very slow earner.

so your using a service to get the email leads then another service to send out emails to your landing page .

not a bad idea .....

I suggest you use a proper written to intise sales , your need to use click bait advertising in the email to get them to goto your landing page ......

don't use direct linking sales usually very low to a landing page....

we all have to wait and see it you convert well.

ps. I don't no if sending a deal everyday via email is a good idea , that would irratate me ....

Actually I don't setup a landing page, leadserve gathers email addresses with their own page.

Emailing everyday will weed out people who aren't looking to lose weight. But I'm following at system from Ben Settle. We shall see what happens.

@devius Thats great thank you.

I only pay Leadserve when they capture an email address and send it to my autoresponder. The conversion rate of email opens, click-throughs, and sales on Clickbank are what is being evaluated. If I'm explaining Leadserve poorly checkout @shezboy thread [METHOD] How to turn $5 into as much money as you want. I hope to get at least 5% of my 200 leads to buy the Clickbank product. That's below the typical conversion rate for this product, but since I am new to this, I expect things to come slower than for other experienced Clickbank affiliates.

That may work for someone else. I collected email subscribers interested in the health niche.

GoodLuck MAn
Thank you

Day 1 Email Stats

It has been 24 hours since my first email. 34% open rate I can be happy with. I messed up my email by using a bold 24pt font. My screen was zoomed in and I didn't realize. Total noob move.

Day 1 Send Lane.jpg
Day 1 Click Bank Stats

Day 1 CB.jpg

I have a couple hops! My first email looked so weird I'm surprised people clicked through at all. My lead magnet has my affiliate links inside of it so if the ctr in my emails are different from my hops that would explain it.

I had to manually send my second email because my automation "work flow" in Sendlane got weird. If I can't get the automation fixed I will switch email auto-responders. Basically being a noob has shown me the roadblocks you all know too well when starting out a project.

I am reading Ben Settle's email players newsletter every morning and night. That and diet book reviews from amazon. I am getting my email copy straight from the fitness market. I'll post my stats tomorrow.

Who is teaching you email marketing? Even I wish to learn some concepts of it...

I'm not familiar with LeadServe, but can you target the emails you pay for or are they general?

If you can't target specifically weight loss related emails, then I would not promote a weight loss offer.

Your best bet with this method (imo) would be to send the leads to CPL offers.

If you are paying 0.25 per email and let's say you can get $1 - $1.50 per lead, it will be quite easy to break even, if not profit, THEN you can focus on selling affiliate products.

Just my opinion, but if you did what I suggest above, you'd break even faster which will allow you to scale quickly.

Yeah right now that's what I'm averaging after the initial email. But my subject lines could use some work.

Leadserve allows for targeting. And only people interested in my lead magnet were added as well. So its pretty targeted.

I want to do well in email marketing and writing copy. If I can make emails sell affiliate products then I will be happy.

If you know some CPL for fitness I would be glad to check it out. Thanks for looking out. ;)

Day 3 stats

These numbers are all over the place because I messed up my automated sequence. These are not my subject lines, just "file names" for my emails in Sendlane's system.

Send Lane day 3.jpg

There are a few people that sclickthrough to the sales page. I just need to write better emails to encourage a higher ctr. I do have a call to action in every email. I use Ben Settle's method when it comes to writing email. Look him up if you are interested in what approach I am making to email.

Click Bank Day 3

clickbank day 3.jpg

My emails aren't really getting opened. These leads have proven to be at least real people and high quality in my mind. I just need to write more sticky subject lines.

Email marketing is a tricky thing. You need to learn it first. Initially, even i wasted 350+ email subscribers and was not able to sell anything to them thru my email campaign. It took my 3-4 months to realize how to create campaigns and segregate email list.

It's better to try and fail than to be stuck in "study" more forever.

I wouldn't even worry about it, especially with 350 subscribers. Learn, implement and test. Seriously, I wouldn't personally care until I'd built at least 10k subs then I'd start segregating and so on.

Yeah I'll worry about that when I make some sales. Hahaha 3-4 months isn't a bad time frame to get good at a skill though. Nice.

Sweet because I'm not ready to worry about that.
