You can use adwords to promote your site but not to send them directly to Amazon.

Can I send traffic via adwords to my pages that has affiliate links to amazon? If so, do they have to be in-content aff links rather than obvious "See current sales price on amazon" banners?

    Thanks!

    Rashow,

Google has a policy whereby they suspend ads that send users to bridge pages. A bridge page is essentially a doorway page that leads people to another site. In your case, as long as you have some useful content on the page along with your affiliate links you should be ok. As mentioned by a previous poster, you cannot send people directly to Amazon and your ads probably will not run if you have the word Amazon in your ad text.

Keep in mind though that advertising affiliate links is technically against Google's policy so they still could potentially ban you. If you have good content this may be less likely to happen

Here is Google's policy on bridge pages,

    Hope this helps,

    Shawn
