    Hello.

When managing a PPC adwords campaign - is it better to delete keywords and adgroups that have a CTR rate of less than 1%?

Or is it better to keep the keyword and adgroups but just delete under-performing ADS/Ad Text?

    Thanks

Keyword and adgroups have nothing to do with your CTR. Your ad content is the major source for ups and down in CTR rate. You choose any keyword your ads is going to show up after winning bid, however if your ad content is not attractive you will get lower ctr rate and vice versa.

focus on animated (Gif) Image ads for high ctr rate.

    hope this helps

PPC = Pay Per Click (Wikipedia: Pay per click (PPC) is an advertising model, wherein a website pays a set amount (bid price), whenever someone clicks on their ad.)

CPC = Cost Per Click (A type of online advertising model in which return or payment is based on how many times the ad is clicked. Per-click prices can range from 0.10 cents to $10 depending on the popularity of the content or the advertising agreement.)

    Hope this helps
