Adwords Keyword Tool Question - different search values

    Hi BHW :)

    I played little bit with keyword tool to find some microniches and stayed confused with these results:

    So which value is the right one? 6.600 / 140 / 170 ?

    Under match types, both broad and exact is selected so 6k is broad search count and 140 is exact search count.

    Sometimes GKT shows the actual search term we entered under Keyword ideas as well and I even notice that difference in search count.

    I always stick to the [EXACT] search count shown under "search terms" so 140 is the correct one.

    btw what software you used to edit the image?

    Better use SEMRush, it has better exact searches.
    AdWords doesn't show that good numbers anymore.

    Okay, now I understand this funny mechanism, lol :)
    just 140 :/ I'll have to search for new one kw now ...

    I just use Photoshop with some downloaded fonts^^


    albaniax, thx for your tip. I'm looking for free KW-research-Software(s) so I will check this tool )

    Sometimes it's also the case where a short 2 word exact match keyword gets less traffic than a long-tail keyword with those same 2 words.

    I'd focus on exact or phrase match and target the long tails, then cross check with other keyword research apps.
