there are alot of searches for my keywords that take place in ohio and even friends and family are not seeing any of the ads when they search for them.

    any ideas?
all of my other campaigns are running strong.

What is the quality score? Could it be your ad has been flagged or needs approval for some reason? Have you asked G and see what response you get?

8$ is way too high. I guess u should build new adword and delete new one. Also use new website with quality content. The only reason for bid this high is because u may have very low quality score or your keyword history is bad.

Your account is under review. Its happened to me couple weeks ago.
I've tried everything and still no clarity from google.

Then i change IP, profile browser, etc, close that account.
And make new one. And its work.

You have a low quality score. Probably 1 out of 10. Check and report back here. Do you have affiliate links on your landing page?

    there are no affiliate links.
this is adwords for a brick and mortar business website.

the other ads pointing to the same site with different keywords are running fine.

    Showing ads right now?
    No
The keyword phrase doesn't currently trigger any of your ads. What can I do?

This looks like they disapproved your ad-- maybe you didn't get the email? Try re-writing the ad completely and see what they do.

You might also have better luck with Bing and Yahoo ads, they are much more lenient and cheaper than the big G.
