Can the display URL be complitly different from the actual domain? I mean, for example, the link is http://example1.com/something/ and could the display URL be example2.net/random/?
Also I know that when a domain is used within one account it can't be used with another, is it connected also with subdomains of one domain? If so, where do you guys get new domains? Just buying them? Also are the domains banned from google (e.g. de-indexed) suitable for Adwords? Maybe there is some place where we can buy them?

    Thanks.
P.S. Am going to provide the free 100$ coupon to the person who gives the most helpful reply if you are interested.

The destination URL (http://example1.com/something/) can't be the final domain stop. That is it must eventually redirect to a URL contain part of the root domain of the display URL (example2.net/random/).

If example2.com is your tracking domain it must at the end redirect to a url contain the root part of your display URL so any of these would be valid:
    example2.net/1
    example2.net/2
    example2.net/abc

    etc etc

If when someone clicks on http://example1.com/something/ and that's where the clicker end up then your ad will be disapproved becaused because the Display URL root domain does not match the destination URL root domain.

Yes you rent a domain name on a yearly basis. The price varies depending on thr provider and what domain extension is selected. Also in your example. www.example.com/sub1 -- that is not a subdomain, it is a directory. You can have sites set up there, but f you want a true subdomain, it looks like sub1.example.com instead. In the second example, you will have a whole domain, separate from www.example.com, with its own statistics, space, dns entries etc.
On the banned domain names, you do not know in advance in a name was banned by Google. Usually, sending in a request to have it unbanned works, but it may not always. You will need to have a nice looking legitimate site up before sending the request. After they have been reinstated, is when you would want to use adwords again.

    Omg, that's stupid.
I had a domain and thought I can use any display URL because the domain isn't relevant to the niche (it is just one of my old domains).
Thanks a lot I will fix that now.
