Having the same problem for my brick and mortar business adwords campaign!
The other annoying thing is that they don't tell me WHY it was disapproved of the first time or HOW to fix it so that it will go live.

Exactly. I'm one of those accounts that was canceled for
NO REASON WHATSOEVER when I was just starting to try
out image ads.
...............don't you wish that they just disapproved it so you can move on
...........Damn, that is way too long

This happens to a lot of people. Google likes to review certain niche ads before approving them, and I have known people who had to wait for as long as a month before getting accepted. I once faced a similar situation with one of my Ads. The problem is mostly the ad copy, so I wrote another one by using my 'problem' keyword in a different way and the result was instant approval.
