I would think the first step would be learning how to post something more
then one word demands.
As long as we're being smartasses, the next step would be to learn the difference between then and than.
Thought the title was pretty self explanatory.
I'll make a long wordy post though that really doesn't have much to do with the original question just to satisfy, however...
My original account was suspended for bad ads or something. I submitted a few different campaigns and they didn't pass the review. So instead of just denying those campaigns, Google just suspended my entire account permanently. When I asked them if it was possible to just delete the campaigns and let me continue making other campaigns, they acted like it would be the worst thing in the world, and said no.
Ridiculous, but alas, Adwords is a powerful traffic source so I would like to use it.
Now I'll restate my question. What is the work around for this? How can I get a new account?
You need a new you.
-New IP (VPN)
-New computer (VM)
-New Identity (Use your middle initial, or business name)
-New Form of Payment (Use another credit card/debit card, if you have Bank of America you can generate your own VCC's, don't know if BoA's VCC's work though)
Match the IP to an actual location that the IP points to (example: the IP says you're in downtown San Jose, pick a legitimate address in downtown San Jose, your billing address, and IP can of course be different).
That's about it, if you have the resources to do all that then you'll successfully be able to start up a new account no problems.
Fact: Billing addresses do NOT have to be unique. If you got an account with credit card A banned with billing address A you can open another account with billing address A and credit card B and you'll be just fine. The reason for this is Google doesn't slap whole households. As long as nothing else matches up you'll be fine.
This is how I got back on Adwords. My account was manually reviewed before my ads would run and they passed it and my ads have now been successfully running for quite some time.
More than likely they'll know it's you. Are you using Google Chrome? Did you erase the flash cookies that Google puts on your computer? Have you used that computer to log into any Google services since creating a new adwords account? Google really looks at a lot when it comes to their accounts (since they ban for life). It'd be safer, and easier for you to just use a virtual machine. Then once you have a footprint that works just clone it over and over again.
If you're not doing anything critically important with an Adwords account you don't have to be that careful. I've had multiple accounts on the same credit card and address and it hasn't been an issue. It's more important to figure out exactly why they didn't like your campaigns so that you don't get banned again.
I was going to go through all of that VPS, virtual credit card, clearing cookie stuff myself,
but in the end I just set one up in my wifes name with a new gmail account and her personal
I am assuming that my wife has every right to have an Adwords account.
So far the account has been fine and they even kindly emailed "her" a $100 voucher.
My only concern now is how to use it as my previous attempts to drive traffic were apparently
an egregious violation of landing page rules which to this day are still an ambiguous mystery to me.
I shall tread carefully this time and I would appreciate it if any has a decent resource on Adwords
wow, i though they were this crazy with adsense accounts only, didn't know it was suck a big deal with adword. I tried myself to do a new account and use a coupon i got last week and they closed the account in a few days, ads never ran...but i just thought it was because the account was new.
the best thing to do is to hire an adwords management company. Look for a company that has "AdWords Qualified Individual" (a genuine logo with a link that points to their adwords google profile). They can open an account for you without any issues, and you won't get suspended, unless you do something illegal on your website.
The main advantage is that an adwords account linked to a reputable adwords management company is more stable and you will easily pass the google review tests(like billing info and CC)
In my opinion the best resource is: perrymarshall.com
We can run ads. We charge at low rate 35%(you pay $35 and your site get $100). It's more saving than you do by yourself. First of all, we will test your campaign, when it show, we cooperate(no payment in advance).
I would think the very first factor would be learning how to post something more then one phrase specifications.
actully google adwords change in its policy...
when you use voucher....
if you use voucher in $ but your billing address is in UK. then definitely you will banned. and if your ads start then first 2-3 days your ads working fine.. after that they suspended your account. some time when you change any settings like increase/decrease budget or anything then google definitely banned / suspended..
this is my personal experience because of last April, my 6-7 account is suspended...and i asked to google adwords support team and they reply me above.
If I understand correctly your text, has closed Google your account or multiple accounts?
It is easy to open a new account, but because Google has been warned that I would be careful. I would be careful when you open new accounts, because if Google closed you for the organic search with you website permanently. they do not want it?
Correct the website's violations, then contact adwords via email and ask them to review the site and consider re-opening your suspending your account. I doubt that would happen though, since you have unsuccessful prior contact with them, and possible inability to understand how the internet and people skills "work"?
A you sure that you got them correctly? Currency and country are just different and independent terms in adwords. I've used different currencies with different countries and never had problems with that.
As I understand, voucher is not OP's crucial point. If so - you can definitely pay in drahmas or tugriks if you acc setting allow this.
FlyinTurdNugget, what you need to do is:
1. Check adwords policies. Read them carefully.
2а. If you find reason of ban - correct it and -->
3a. FUCK Adwords support - tell them that you didn't get the rules but now you've undestood them and now it's ok.
2b. If you didn't find the problem -->
3b. FUCK Adwords support - go through their paragraphs and tell: this is correct, this is correct, this is correct - what do you want from me???
They will answer: fuck off and read our rules
Your tell: fuck off - I've read the rules and everything is fine.
This may repeat 1-2 times.
Finally they will answer what exectly to correct (you've mensioned in your ads that this castle is free, but it's not; or you didn't mension size of the app you promote at your landing page, etc)
If they don't answer - call them.
Hope this helps.
Organic has nothing to do with Adwords in this case, at all.
Separate names with a comma.
