Anybody use this? It looks like a great way to get people that have left your site to come back and purchase via a specialised, highly targeted money off ad, tailored to the product they have just viewed!

I just want to hear other people opinions on this, because to me this seems like a pretty good system to advertise, especially for an e-commerce store.

    Cheers peeps

This feature added only a month before, so its hard to predict how it goes. I don't have real time practical experience with this, i too have soo many questions un-answered.
See not all the visitors clicked your add intended to make a sale. Some are just visitors and they always be a visitors. If our add displayed to them again its waste of $, whatever he won't buy. And if a visitor came intended to buy and he left because of over price/shipping time/etc., Whats the purpose of making him visit again?
Also the very funny thing here is these visitors are tracked by cookies. (Cookie stuffing!)
These cookies stay from 60 days to 365 days. Do the customers do the visitors don't buy what they looked for for 60+ days....
In my option it won't create big impact on ROI.

Thanks for your thought, its thought provoking stuff,

its interesting because my thoughts around it are: if I have a site selling blue widgets at $10, then the traffic hits my blue widget page, then bounces, that then triggers my re-marketing ad which then appears on any competitor site with "content network" ads enabled saying " Save 50% on my blue widget" i will then drive them to my remarketing LP with the 50% off offer and my widget on sale at $5.

This is a very exciting way of advertising - anybody else have any other thoughts?

Thats really cool mate. What you are saying is right and hope it does work out. First test it with low CPC sites.

Remarketing is a new feature introduces in Adwords. Remarketing allows you to reach people who previously visited your website from Adwords. If a visitor clicks your add and he left without buying the product Adwords can track the customer from thr browser cookie. And you can run another campaign to target the visitors who already came and din't brought your product. So that your new remarketing add's will be displayed to those old visitors.

This really sounds like a great feature and I would be definitely interested in testing it out.

really good idea. however, what if not the price was the reason why the visitor left your page and didn't buy?

I know this might sound very stupid,
but can we 're-market' the visitor to a different URL?

    Say my site is: www.abc.com
Visitor visits my site, he now sees my banner on another site
When he click on my banner, it redirects him to www.xyz.com ?

    Thanks
