I want to try and make one vs zennoposter, which is what I usually use. Zennoposter kept crashing with every one of the browser based ones I tried due to a java bug it has in the version I use and I don't want to pay to update it. Hence why I wanted to use it as an opportunity to make me use python. I am still extreme noob at python but I figure I have to dive in at some point and having a practical goal keeps me more motivated while I'm doing the LPTHW exercises as well. Do processes still follow the same step by step order in pyhton as they would in zenno? Ie you go one step at a time- add proxy, login, goto page, scrape page etc etc? Seems it should be quite straight forward if so, learning one piece at a time. I initally tried to use the instagram api but they have changed the rules now to not allow following/unfollow. You have to contact them to manually approve you. I would ask on the pyhton specific forums but they hate me for being a noob and not asking questions in the perfect style they ask for. Since the api is no longer faesible I'm asking for what the broad brushstrokes of what I should lookup in terms of modules to use/functions etc which will be required. Ie Will I need a full web browser emulation now? I will have to scrape pages, using python request I guess. What else?
