I have just finished making my authority site and I wanted to add a facebook to it, I have made a new site account instead of personal account for it.

However my facebook currently have nothing and I was planning to:

    • Update the photo with my site logo
    • Fill all the information related to my site in the bio, description, site, etc

However after that it will still be plenty blank, I would like some advices and ideas of how I should start populating my facebook to reflect my Authority Site, etc.

For example if I should make new posts little by little relating them to my site posts or any other ideas of how to do it.

    Thanks.

    hi cgimaster!

i am in the same boat as you. just created my first authority site. maybe we can share some of our ideas.
for the authority site i created an google+, twitter and facebook account.
i linked them all together and i also created an account at dlvr.it. so when i add a new post to my site it will automaticly send out a tweet and a facebook update.
i tried it with one post yesterday and the twitter thing worked but my facebook site didn't post an update. not sure why, but i am looking into it right now.
what other strategies are you using to add authority to your site?
do you know if you actually need twitter followers and facebook fans to give your site more authority juice or is it enough to have these accounts added to your site and update regularly?

    If you have some budget,
get a 100$ FB Ad voucher and advertise your page,it would help
Once it has some Fans then interact with them regularly and fans will increase automatically.

don't you need content first? who wants to become a fb fan if your page is without content?

    Sorry,
I thought you guys had something on your Fanpage,

A great start would be ,
a fiverr gig by a sexy girl giving introduction about your site.

I have a Gaming site and I share game walkthroughs on my FB page.
May be you can find something related to your niche ?

Hi jass, Looks a nice idea the gig thing, would you mind sharing the user you brought from ?

I am still thinking what I am going to do as I havent finished publishing articles to my site but I will not link the fb or anything else until I get some content on it.

My authority site is about travel and hotels reviews, so I have plenty of content to talk about, I was planning to illustrate my fb page with some beach or something like that and then post some stuff about some of the reviews I have and link them to the post.

I dont have much FB experience but am get the hang of it little by little, once I get the FB done and some experience then I will move into g+, twt, etc.

Also planning to add a like plugin to my site once I have the above working out.

give your intro mate what else would you do. start with your friend and posting about your niche, start with informative general stuff somehow related to your niche and like this slowly slowly you will start a good flow of fans and daily interaction as well.
