    Hello Guys

I'd like to hear your IDEAS please on what to do or how to sell a domain name I own, it is a 5 stars domain, lets call it like that on a .TEL extension

The name belongs to a TOP 10 Company related to the Internet. I am wondering if i should sell it or even contact the company itself and offer the domain, well I guess that's not the proper approach yet.

What is good about .TEL domains is the fact that all trade marked .tel domains had a exclusive period for its owners to register them if they failed to do that then anyone could get the domain so I got some under very interesting brands. imagne fast food brands, internet marketing brands, etc
and yes some top search related terms.

.TEL domains doesn't need a hosting acct. but still can archive a nice and well organized directory for you.

EX: Lets think of KFC brand for example. you could have this .tel domain set on world regions then nations then states and cities once you reach the city ex: Miami, you can have a full list by areas etc you find the NEAREST restaurant and click on it (.tel DOMAINS ARE MOBILE COMPATIBLE 100%)

    - SO you click in the nearest KFC link and you have a Google map, the tel number website email etc whatever they want to list there.

Well that info above just in case you are new to this type of domains.

ANY IDEAS ON WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO SELL THIS FOR SOME BIG PROFITS??

By the way I do not own the KFC domain lol, but some very close to it, still I'd like to hear your comments.

    Regards

    Mark

You can try to sell this domain in the buy/sell section here, or just google for some sites that are selling old domains.

Hello thanks for the reply Rep given :)

If you follow the link on my 1st post above you will find all the buzz around .tel domains.

If you are based in USA maybe the Co's can try something but still that priority PERIOD given to brand name owners is a STRONG legal precedent helping you, The original registrant to get at least a good compensation for your losses in the event they can actually try and do something against you.

Domains extensions are all sensitive to big brands, if you don;t believe go register an egay related domain and you will get a notice from them in no time. Also not that if you re not US based there is not much noise they can do specially if you fight them back with a good letter from your lawyer.

    MORE INFO ON .TELS
.tel domains are unique on its kind, this because NO other domain extension can avoid the server issue and make NO USE of web hosting in order to work.

-Tel's can work on any mobile phone with descent technology while still working as a magnificent DNS. based DIRECTORY.

    - You can even add keywords to entries.

    - I ve also noticed that .tel domains are ranked fast on G, as they are not likely to carry all the issues the average domains usually can bring as a problem to SE's.

I registered 50+ .tel when it launched last year. After waiting telnic develop their system for 6 months, I realised I made a bit mistake to put money on this gtld. Currently, .tel is going to drop next month with no one have an idea to extend. Dot tel may win a biggest drop domain ever, who know?
