Advice on setting up affiliate store with datafeed

Hey guys, hope you don't mind me asking this in here. I've searched all over for some good information regarding my question and haven't found what I'm looking for.

I want to create an affiliate store using a datafeed. I've seen shopperpress and a few other wordpress cart plugins. Can anyone recommend a good plugin or cart for wordpress that works well with affiliate datafeeds?

I think what I'd like to do is use WP Robot to pull in niche related content, outsource some unique content writing, and have sections for these "recent articles" on my homepage, maybe a few featured products, and a link to my store which will be populated with an affiliate datafeed for the content. However, I'll edit much of the datafeed so it's not too much duplicate descriptions. Basically my question is: is there a good wordpress cart that can add affiliate products in a "store" format? You know where I can add related products, and other information on each product page?

I use datafeedr alongside shopperpress, currently I have 25ish sites running on datafeedr with an aim to get 100 up by the end of the year.

whatever....that one is NOT free. It's $40. It's cheap...but not free. I'm assuming you have some vested interest in the this plugin. don't spam your links in here please.

Just curious, where does it say the price is $40?

If you follow the link on the site in big bold letters it says

"Available Now! Download CJ-Datafeed For Free".

You follow that link and you will find yourself on the wordpress plugin directory. Giving you the link to the plugin.

Sorry guys maybe stupid question but is it CJ like a feed which changes updates in real time and with secondary affiliate ID?

There are plugins out there that can do that which connect through the API and each time someone goes to your site will get the latest prices and products.



But this particular plugin takes a csv file and creates a store with the products in that file. The only way to get updates on your site is to re-uploaded an updated csv file. Commission Junction drops an updated csv file on your server each day. That file has your affiliate id built into it so you just upload the feed and your products are attached to you CJ account.

I just posted this in a similar thread. WP All Import will supposedly publish products on your blog from the CJ XML feed. I haven't used it but have heard recommendations.

You can use WPRobot as well without having to worry about datafeeds.

Datafeedr is a good one but they take a long time updating/adding merchants to there list of supported datafeeds. But you can make some cool looking sites with Datafeedr though...
