Make a php script behind the opt-in form that verify if the details was enter by the user.. insert them in the db and after redirect the user to the webpage.

You can go further and save the email in a session var and put a condition at he beginning of the video page that check if the session variable is set and if the email form the session var is in your db...

This is the coding way, but if you find this difficult you can search for a plugin, not sure if there is something like that but you can take a try.

I'm willing to help you with the codding if you need more help on that.

    Thank you

So much for it being simple lol I guess there's no simple solution? I know with aweber once they sign up you can redirect them to a 'thankyou' page, i was going to use this as the video page, But of course then i wouldnt know if they placed in a true email.

Hmm.. the only other thing i can do, is once email is confirmed follow up email containing the link to the page.
That way seems less professional and more hassle to me.

    Thanks for the reply though.

send the link to the page with the confirmation mail: No legit email - no video.

Sending the video in the confirmation email will lower your chances so the video will be watch

More then that in 80% of the cases I never read the confirmation email and even less I click on links.

Having a video in front of the visitor eyes will increase you chances.

Give me the main code of the subscription form and I will try to make the redirect.

    Thank you
