Been a big fan of this site for a while and have managed to pick up a shit load of tips, what im looking for is some advice on selling a E product on line.

Used methods such as youtube pointing to product page - does not seem to get that many hits to warrant a marketing campaign.

Just started to ask for links from related websites (manually) but don?t get a good response for effort I put in.

As im not a marketing guru what advice would you give to get a product selling.

    Again thanks in advance.

real power of web 2.0, YT, social networking is in targeting. Selling electronics your locked in a giant vacuum with 500,000,000,000 competing results on searches. Utilize the web 2.0 marketing techniques to find niche keywords. ur site can promote everything but poorly. then each targeted video or series of vids, spread thru out social network dominates small niche keyword combos that get say 80-120 searches a day with only 25,000 competing results.

When low competetion, web 2.0 can dominate first page google with video thumbnails easily. enough videos on thre front page and you take 30% of clicks which converts at low rates for electronic shopaholics.

BUT if you make 10 videos to hit 10 different pocket niches - because you target wit precision, you take each of those 1o vids and make slight changes to them. Add an extra creadit, of second of music at the end, etc. Then you now have 100 videos (make all under 3 minutes for opt earch engin)

snag 5 - 10 rrelevantkeyword combos in 10 different electrnoic pocket niches and bam, you know have thousands of REAL targetted traffic hits every week.

This is just abridged version by the way
