    Hey guys I have a youtube gaming channel and I need advice on how to get my videos to get more views and likes?. Now I make quality videos trust me.. I just don't get the views and was told by random people I asked (I got reviews off random people) & they said your videos are realllllllly pro.. so I know I am not getting a lack of views due to crap quality but it's just gaming channels are in there millions and I need advice on how I can market or get more views to my channel for free?.. you don't have to reply but I'd appreciate some tips.

    P.S. I am not asking to be spoonfed just legit whitehat techniques on how to get more views. (no automated stuff, I don't want my channel banned).

    Thanks. ;)

    Add several social links to the right, get a FB page, a Twit page, stumble, and more...start to drive visitors to not only your YT channel but all your social channels as well. on the social channels, try get use auto software to get followers and views. from there drive all of that gained traffic back to your channel. if you have a site add it , if not get a clogger site to drive visitors from their to your channel and vice versa..

    Make fake accounts on facebook with pictures of nice girls. Add lads from other gaming pages on facebook then invite them to your facebook page. Feed everything through your facebook page. A good 80% of lads usually take the bait.

    Same thread, same question, different day. There really is no way around it, but you want to do it the long road of legit right? You will need to do popular games when they first release, and upload a walkthrough or guide for hungry viewers. It may take years to get a decent subscriber base, but then you can always join a network that would help promote you. You may not like how simplistic it is to get people to view your videos, but over time when people start noticing you when they shift through the tons of SHIT quality content, and then find you, you start getting subscribers. 72 hours or more of video is uploaded on YouTube every hour for 24/7. Tell me HOW people are just going to randomly find you making videos (other than shifting through them)? Do you even spark enough interest with your personality and content to make them stop and subscribe? To me, NO, so your videos will be extra slow on gaining subscribers and viewership.

    I learned the hard way, so I'll wet your lips with reality. Below I would have listed a Black Hat method to get views, but decided that it was a waste of time.

    The black hat way involves money, which you apparently don't have. So I wouldn't even start to go over how you could turn around and make bank from buying BSTS and whatever else simply because its a waste of words. You wouldn't be able to follow it, and the post would rot here for decades before even 1 person would follow it. So you think people that are BIG on YouTube just made videos and people decided to watch them? Nope, they had heavy promotional advertising going on behind them. Whether you like it or not, their fans or a company boosted them up the YouTube ranks. Sorry enough said, now go get a 9-5 job and start using some BSTS here to boost your subscriber count and views / likes with some CONTROL comments.

    I'm wondering what paid advertising strategy you are talking about. Is it the usual likes+comments+views or anything else? Would love to hear from you on what works for promoting the videos.

    @mickyfu,
    loool that sounds like a sneaky technique and really appreciate.. dunno if I'll try it but never the less thanks. ;D

    @therage,
    Wow very in depth and no BS straight to the point, I loved your reply and it made sense that a lot of big gaming commentators did use a lot of marketing to get really huge.. really appreciate your reply and will ponder over everything you said. I do have a job at the moment too lol.. so ya no need to look for a 9-5, anyways thanks alot!. ;D

    It is the best way to get laser targeted people, I do the same sometimes but targeted towards gambling related pages.

    I toke a look at your channel and videos. And i can tell you a few points from a "viewers" prespective.
    Well as i do not play that game there is nothing for me in your channel. I am not really sure if people want to see weapon guides in bops 2.
    If i was a viewer i would be more interested in:
    1 - maybe professional plays
    2 - special introduction to maps, hints, tricks
    3 - beating a raging kid, especially good if with audio (these are magnets)
    4 - if you are into bops 2 i dont know what more to really ad. You can try connecting a large channel/user in YT and ask for promo, pay for promo. (might require cash)
    5 - learn to be a commentator and do a tournament. (requires cash)
    6 - do dual commentators / play with other known people
    7 - Link your channel in forums, advertise ingame

    i have some more but unfortunately im short on time, hope it helped

    I have a gaming channel too. and if you want to do it completely white hat. you just gotta have patience, just network with other youtubers, advertise as much as you can on facebook and twitter. just try to engage your audience. viewers will come in eventually, if you make good, quality content, you'll be noticed.

    networking with other gaming youtubers really helps out A LOT. do a shoutout to another channel, ask bigger channels if they'll do a shoutout for you. if you get a bigger channel to do a shoutout for you, more viewers will come to see your videos, and if they like them, they will stay.

    it's all about finding the right people and connecting with them. feature channels on your page, see if you can get your channel featured on someone else's page. it's all good and it does really help. I'm still relatively new with my channel too, but I did and am still doing all of this, and I do think it's helping me out. I'm not getting crazy views, not even a lot, I don't expect that for a channel that's only 3 months old anyways. But I am gettign more views now than I got when I just started out 3 months ago.

    that said, I ain't doing everything completely white hat, but I do stick to those principles. and they should help out.

    Make sure your tags are related to the video, check your title with other video with high ranking to ensure you have right keywords. Check adwords keyword research to see how many people are searching.

    I've been doing my YT for a year and now making around 5$ a day. It's not that easy....

    I have only had my gaming channel up for a month. But I figured that out real quick. I thought "there is no way that some of these channels are that popular naturally. My content is wayyyy better." So I bought a couple of view and subs or what not. Money is not an issue. But I don't want to waste time. Please tell me how to make "bank" from buying BSTS. You have a willing student. :)

    use fiverr bot your views, likes, comments get about 100K+ subscribers then the real life bandwagoners of youtube will follow even if your content sucks. Trying to get big on youtube on your own today just isn't going to happen no matter how good you think your content is people may watch it but they won't subscribe to you
