Hi guys need advice on how to get new sites listed quicky in search engines
You submitted your sitemap to google and other SE yet?
Try submitting to free directories as well for backlinks
not yet still adding content....
submitting to SE should get your site indexed faster.
don't submit your site first. you will be waiting for weeks to see your site index if you do submit it. you should first link you site to a website with a high page rank with lot's of traffic and you will see your site get index in about 1-3 days.
The best way to get indexed in a short time:
You must have 2 digg accounts
1. Submit your story to Digg.
2. Copy the digg url. And keep it save.
3. Now you have the url head over to ping site like kping and paste your url and click submit.
4. "add your first account as a friend to your 2nd account as friend".
If you go to Digg and in your profile you click "friends activity" you will have the list of diggs that your friend submited or dugg,
Go to freinds history there you will find rss button.
If you have RSS Submit, just open, paste the RSS feed url and submit to all directories lol.
sometimes indexed within 30minutes.
Another easy way to get your site indexed is by using high traffic forums, say like a DP (digitalpoint.com). Create a signature with a link to your website using keyword's in your text link. That site gets crawled every day by the engines so when they come across posts you have made, they will then visit your website via the signature you have used. You can also buy directory submissions from there for next to nothing, you just need to get like 15 or 20 posts to view the buy/sell/trade section. There are people there who will do hundreds of directory submissions for like $10-$20 with a full report. This will save you a shitload of time since you are not doing the work yourself. Grant it directories do not bring hardly any traffic, but in the coming weeks and months they will be an easy supply of backlinks for your website.
Have to agree with submiting sitemaps. If you use something like YACG this is easy to tweak and submit en masse. I've also had some success with creating and pinging feeds. Ive done a testusing nothing but these 2 stategies for promotion and got indexed to about 30% of total keywords.
As for rank this doesnt do much, except for really low comp terms, so you need to get lots of backlinks. Make sure you have you basic interal SEO covered then get heaps of themed and non-themed backlinks using your keywors as anchor text. Most should point to your main page and the rest used for deep linking. Now automate same and retire to a beach sipping pina coladas. I am not yet retired so therefore this is the bit Im currently working on
Install word press on it and start making posts. Create a posts on related blogs. The spiders will come
Video Video Video!
Read up on getting ranked with video sharing sites,
This works NOW!
I start Blogger Blogs, use video, long tail keywords, lots of 2.0 backlinks and submit the crap out of my blog to every video site.
Then I get some edu backlinks and a few paid high PR backlinks.
This will get you to the first page on Google (NOT for IM or competitive markets)
I've used this strategy and getting some awesome results
Add Squidoo pages, write a tumblr post and wait for it to get listed - it's very easy. If you have 15+ pages on your site it should get indexed in less than 24h.
I get all my sites indexed in Google and Yahoo in less than a week, even single page sites with no outgoing links and no backlinks, by just doing this:
1. Submit XML sitemap to Google and Yahoo.
2. Use QUIT tool on bluehatseo.com
However, I can't get anything indexed in MSN quickly, even with the usual tricks. Any advice?
Don't forget the "old" trick of craigslist.org
using myspace also get your site indexed fast.
Thanks guys all your tips are great I'll be sure to put them to good use!
craigslist appends nofollow to your url
Piqq.us is very useful for digging or stumbling a site.
Separate names with a comma.
