I need some help getting optins to my site in the dog niche. What are some fast and easy methods.
I used to be in the dog training niche and I had build up a list of almost 500 before quitting. I never made a single sale, and got tons of complaints every time I sent out a broadcast. That niche is extremely difficult because it's loaded with stuck-up know it alls and bitchy soccer moms.
To answer your question, though, I got a lot of leads from Ezine Articles and Craigslist. I also joined all of the most popular dog training forums, but caught hell in a lot of them as soon as I posted my squeeze page link in the forum signature.
I didn't get banned because it wasn't against the forum TOS, but people got really nasty and started calling me a loser and a "parasite affiliate marketer". The funny thing is, I waited for about a month to put the forum sig in. I actually linked to a couple of articles I had written before that so it didn't seem like I was just jumping in the forum to get leads.
It's a real tough niche and I got real frustrated and gave up on it. But best wishes and good luck to you.
Do a splash page opt-in, it increases the success rate like crazy.
Maybe put articles in it and make it rank in the first page of google then maybe flip it afterwards.
Any good examples?
Put all the dog breed informations in your site
Grab a free plr ebook and give it away as a reward, make a course etc just give them to push the button
I agree with twinreal. PLR giveaway is a good way to go here...maybe do up a quick e-book on say, dog training?
yeah tahts how I do it for my rabbit site. Come up with a great name for the ebook like "101 ways to train your dog" or something like that and offer it as a free reward for giving you their email
Separate names with a comma.
