Seem to be lots of intelligent friendly people on this forum, so I'm asking you guys for your opinions on good majors and careers to go into that make good earnings and will be around long in the future.
I go to a branch of a university right now finishing up all of my " core curriculum " classes to get those out of the way.
So ANY and ALL advice i will take, from experience to opinion to research of careers. The goal is 6 figures.

If you're looking to make that much money right out of the gate, I would highly recommend something in Finance. Maybe as an investment banker. You work long hours but the pay off is usually in the six figures.

Investment banking is very tough and is not normal working hours, you could be asked to work though the night literally. Also the job comes first, if you're asked to get your ass into work on a nice sunny Sunday afternoon you better be prepared to do that. Still though it's a good career, it will take you places no other will and you'll meet people you never thought you could.

Here's a few blogs/sites that are good reads.

How did you come to that conclusion? Please think before you post, I don't enjoy making people look stupid but all to often people do it to themselves. My first name is part of my username and M&A.com was founded and is ran by a guy called Brian DeChesare; which you'd know if you actually put 30 seconds of research into your trigger happy reply.

one thing is for sure, avoid obscure majors that have little to no jobs, such as "British Literature of the 15th Century" or "Comic Book Science" both awful choices
