advice for listicle website

My SEO knowledge is very limited, but here goes:

what would you recommend when trying to do a top 5 lawnmowers in a specific geo website?

Should it be just one page with the top 5 in a 2500 word article? (seosurfer still rules?)

Or should it that top 5 with links to reviews of each lawnmower?

What wordpress plugin should I use to hide links? (and I guess not be penalized for it?)

Any other recommendations?

this falls within the "product review" category, which is a category that google regulates heavily and which you'\l probably have a hard time ranking. Just look at what insane demands google has for product review sites:

assuming that you're able to meet google's requirements, either option should work. But I think I would prefer 1 page of (even more than) 2500 words. I think you should aim for 1000-1200 words for EACH product, so about 6000 words in total

hmm... I have used PrettyLinks (the free version) for all of my affiliate links and never had issues with it. But if you're going to link to Amazon I think you can shorten and cloak your links with a tool from your Amazon's affiliate account, I don't remember how it works as it's 8 years since I've stopped doing Amazon affiliate. But I am pretty sure that they have a shortening tool of sorts, so you might not need a plugin...
