    ok guys,
I have been studying seo for a while and have started to impliment my own SEO strategy and need some opinions on it.

First off, i have a main keyword and two smaller searched keywords i want to rank for. I have a wordpress blog with 3 unique articles and each page headline and url corrospond to the keywords i'd like to rank for. All articles have good keyword density and pass ezine articles submissions so it's good content.

so heres my strategy. I have submitted each article to exine articles and have linkes it with my main anchor text to each corrosponding page. 3 backlinks so far, all with a backlink of the anchor text i want to rank for.

now my strategy is to create linkwheels around each of my wordpress pages, and also add in some scribd and docstoc pages linking to my pages on wordpress, and also submit articles to the top article sites.

now all 3 of my articles have been written by getarticlesdone.com, and have been spun using their article mixer. I basically have 3 main articles, and about 100 spun versions of those articles available to use for web 2.0 and other article sites.

Now im slowbly building backlinks by slowly building linkwheels around each page on my wordpress, and im using different keyword variations of my main keywords to use for titles, page urls, anchor texts and tags etc...

I will be building about 3-5 web 2.0 pages/article submissions randomly with random variations of my main keywords in order to seem most natural to search engines. I bookmark this way too with keyword variation headlines and tags and using different web 2.0 and sb sites each time.

please let me know if i should keep doing this, or if you have any questions related to my method and please if you have more experience i would love to get some feedback about my method.

Looks like you pretty much have everything figured out. It sure looks like a good plan. However I would also suggest you set a few hundred backlinks on those link wheels.

Good strategy, I don't see anything black in that... but scribd and docstoc or any other file sharing site will not give you SEO benefit. The links that you see on these sites are not viewable for search engines (you can view the source). With that said, they might rank well and drive you direct traffic but no SEO benefits.

I don't understand why the title of this post is written the way it is. "Take over Google with Minimal Effort"... but then your whole post is asking questions about wether or not your strategy is a good one... a bit misleading...

However, sounds like you got a pretty good strategy going, I'd hardly call it "Minimal Effort" though:)

I do something very similar to this that gets great results. Use your WP categories to target sub-markets within your main market you chose is great.

Then using those to deep link into your site will build your sites PR and authority with Google very fast.

A lot of people still make the mistake of just building backlinks to the home page.

Deep linking is much more effective over the long run, and it will produce much more solid rankings.

thanks guys. and also i wanted to test and see if Im good at writing an enticing headline that gets peoples attention and I did...400 + views and I posted it last night. haha but thanks alot and I will keep you guys updated.

The reason i use scribd is because it ranks well and have seen some good traffic from it. Maybe I will use scribd to target small searched keywords and just dominate the top listing one by one. who knows.

Also, adding maybe 3-5 backlinks per day, when do you think I will start to see some solid results?

and yes I am deep linking right now to 3 seperate pages on my WP blog.

    thanks alot!

Next time please don't use misleading thread headlines. Everyone who is clicking through is expecting you reveal an advanced strategy. But what you wrote is just basic stuff and you are asking for help/advice instead of giving it.

I agree that social bookmarking everything would be helpful. maybe some massive onlywire submissions or something.

    This is interesting.

I've been doing essentially the same thing, but I noticed you do 2 things different:

    1. Alternate anchor text throughout the link wheel. Every link wheel I've seen uses the same anchor text (the targeted kw).
    2. Submit to varying social bookmarking sites. I use onlywire and submit to the same 12 bookmarking sites each time. Maybe that is triggering a pattern in my linkwheel that could hurt my rankings?

Building a link wheel is not considered as minimal effort because article writing takes time. I agree that this is a good strategy but this will take time.

I agree with peter 2002, first this should be in 'whitehat SEO', second the headline is completely misleading.

this is a simple strategy for ranking in pretty low competition keywords. If you are really trying to use it for some good traffic keywords you will encounter big problems as this is one of the most used and simpler link building technique.

There is nothing more to elaborate. You got me with the headline... Next time you fall for someone else's misleading title and feel you just wasted your time. remember this post.

By the way, the title should be "Take Over Google with Maximum Effort"

I dont know if you realise that "strategy" will take time. You are all doing White hat stuff, scale it up & go Black Hat, that way ull save time :)
