Which sponsors are you using? Some sponsors have better promo tools than others, which would affect the conversion ratio.
Also,, which niche are you targeting? If it's something super saturated like teen, your conversion rate is going to be real low.
I run a site selling adult toys + lingerie in the UK if anyone interested in trying a different type of affiliate program. People can find porn free, but they physically need the toy PM me if you are interested in working with me.
And I am looking at getting into porn, just a case of having to do some big media buys to get the content to get started!

But I dont know where or how to start getting paid for it. What programs do i sign up under, do I have to pay them to get things going? what kind of code i need to add to mines for the tracking, etc. Can you help me out?

Boien, a little late reply but here's an pretty solid way to get started.
First of all, find a few niches that not overused like teens, mature ect. Find a sponsor that offers promo content for that niche and signup there.
Build some nice 15-20 picture galleries with a ok looking template (buy a few from a designer if you don't have those skills).
Invest in a good submitting program like chameleon submitter that comes with a complete update database of sites.
submit 1-3 galleries a day in various niches.
Once your galleries starts to get accepted on some of the sites, it's time to contact the various site owners and get a partner account so all your galleries will be auto approved there. Most want to see examples of your galleries on other sites which is why you shouldn't try to get those the first few days.
If you get your hands one some more unique content you also try to submit to some of the larger sites where you pay a little to be able to post your galleries.

Couldn't of said it better myself. This is one of the last few places that members are willing to shell out money for memberships. Everything else is readily available on the tubes so why would anyone pay for it?
I study tubes profusly because we buy a lot of media on them.... and I always hear the same thing, that tubes don't make any money because no one is going to pay for porn when they get it free. So with this in mind, it's pretty obvious you can't monetize tubes by selling porn because they're alreday looking at it for free.
So how can you monetize them? Easy, by promoting offers that men in general respond to, that's not porn. so you can run flogs for penis pill, get ripped, and make money. You can run adult dating (but that's wearing out) Or you can promote our offer, which converts like gangbusters on the tubes.
